You earn a sub man! Just to the point and very clear. 👏👏
You helped me out a lot!
Straight to the point, I love this form of videos
thank you! useful and straight to the point tutorial
This is great! Thank you for your clear and concise video. Well done 👍
Thank you, it's really amazing!
Great tutorial!
im sorry it didn't work for you, are you sure you made sure to plug everything in correctly as the node setups can get very complex
@@AaronPalmerYes, I checked several times, everything is plugged in correctly. I will try again tomorrow. I hope I can find the mistake because the texture is awesome.
I wish you the best and hope it works out on your end
@@AaronPalmerI'm sorry, it was my fault. I didn't have the colorramp on ease. It works now.
Im so glad it is now fixed, good luck on your project
Is there a slower tutorial for this? I'm a newbie so this went a bit over my head, but it is exactly what I need
or better yet is there a download for this kind of setup?
Unfortunately there is neither a download or slower version. I would recommend turning on captions and could possibly slow the video down using the settings. Also pausing and copying may also help
@AaronPalmer Okay thank you. I will watch it over a few more times to try to figure out what I did wrong. I can't seem to get the bubbling appearance, so perhaps I forgot something or selected a wrong setting in the process
@@SquatSimp its important to take your time that way
@@SquatSimp its important to take your time and I wish you the best on your project.
how can i get the blue add node? i only know about mix node 1:37
hello and thank you, sorry if my english is bad, i'm translating this in google
It is called the math node which is set to add
The muscrave got replaced with just noise texture and I’m not sure how to get the same effect ;-; got
I will have a look for you over the next week and make it a priority to release an updated video on this. I will reply to your message again when I have completed such video. It can be difficult when blender make big changes like this. Sorry for any inconvenience
@@AaronPalmer all good thank you so much!
@@sneilson11 apologies i have been really busy over this past few weeks. I had an idea, could you download an older version of blender (so version 3) and make the material in there, then save the file an open it in the new version of blender
Why did you plug those mapping nodes into the Scale input of those noise textures for the Normal instead of the Vector input?
It doesn't matter particularly with which one you plug it into as the both have very similar results but when its plugged into scale it also changes the paint more. Its hard to explain over a comment section so I recommend you give it a quick playthrough and you can see what difference it makes.
Where is Mix node I dont see it did they remove it?
you should be able to use the shortcut 'shift a' and type mix color in the search bar or go to converter and select mix. Hope this helps
needs update I think
Yes I'm working on an update. In the mean time a work around I've suggested is downloading an older version of blender and then opening it up in a newer version once done. Working hard at trying to get the video out but difficult to do so with my full time job
@@AaronPalmer yeah no pressure dude thanks for the videos. It kinda sucks when the blender team moves little things around like that, but I guess it's necessary.
