Interesting comment at the end about the flat cornering. I was hoping the xterrain would corner pretty flat. I'm considering an X Terrain or Switchback Assault at the moment.
I should have been more clear. What I meant was a 137 xrs will corner flatter, so will a Rave RE. The Xterrain RE does have the wide front end and corners better than a Backcountry XRS. However, like the backcountry, they both sit higher than the 137 sleds and you can’t beat the physics of the higher CG.
Great info , my son has a 23 BC XRS 146 , the track it came with is a trail track 1.5ish?? he is planning on going with a 2.25'' . I'll show him what you think about your 1.75 Thanks!
I have around 60 000km on Camso Challenger 2” tracks. They are very durable and decent off trail but really lack bite on hard pack. This Hurricane 1.75” is so good off trail that I don’t think I’ll personally have any 2” Challenger. That being said there is a HUGE difference between the 2” and 2.5” off trail. For an off trail sled the 2.5” has a lot of advantages…. Unfortunately I really don’t have any experience with the 2.25” to give you an opinion
Anything new for this year or so you still have this sled? I have a 24 xterrain and so far it’s great. I am Gonna swap The 23/51 gearing to 23/45 to get some more mid/top end as top end I’m guessing it’s only Around 80mph. I’d like to be around 95ish. Even though with a 2” track I don’t want or need top end I like to go fast across parts of lakes every now and then. I went with the reeds clutch kit and dalton 46/42 helix
I still have this one and I also have a new Brutal. I have ran taller gearing in 850s with tall lugs, but my experience is they only pull more speed for a short distance. They get rpm fade and run slower than the lower gearing so there is little win. Hopefully you have better success.

My hitch is sturdier than the one you have with like a plate against the bumper. This means that the load is spread in a better way

Have you much experience or opinion with the easy ride suspension on the brutal model ?
I don’t have any experience with the Brutal, but I have one ordered for this season… So stay tuned
