So im coming off of a 2022 axys pro rmk 850 to a 2025 brutal re, i loved ther pro but it was built to party and that was about it. No real towing, needs alot of snow to stay cool, kind of a 1 trick pony tbh. I used it to explore alot of Alaska but now i kinda want to chill out and put along so to speak but get down and party when the mood strikes. Speaking with some buddies who are in the game ( own and manage the dealerships) said they moved over to this machine and couldnt be happier, its not a dyed in the wool mtn sled but an everything sled than can hang with the mtn sleds with a bit more effort, so i bought one. Should be ready to get picked up at the end of the month.
Appreciate the review. It's nearly impossible to find real world feedback of how the Lynx Brutal does in the wild. Are you running down near sea level, like up in Canada? I've got one of the Turbo R's snowchecked for out here in Wyoming, and it'll be reclutched for the elevation (trailheads are at 10k feet, and we ride up to 12-13k high typically) so I'm hoping that keeps it from cooking the belt. Which is a bit of a concern due to no low range gearbox plus a taller lug (heavier) track than the Expeditions have.
Great review! So I take it this would be comparable to an Extreme? Too bad the track cant take the day to day use.....is there a 2" version comparable to the track that comesbon a Backcountry X? My son has that track, incredibly durable

I’m based at 1700’. I’ve been down to sea level and up a little over 3000’. I wouldn’t hesitate to gear it down a little for elevation.
Great sled review Andrew! Good to see some new content on your channel
Well that answers some questions, like my expediton i wish a guy could find a 2 inch 20 wide

There currently isn’t a 2” track option for 20 wides…. I’d like to try a 163x20x1.8 if someone would make it
