If you know how hard the life of a classical trained and educated musician is the price is nothing. Please be more kind :-) thank you for this video, wonderful musicians.
Supporting local artists aren’t for the snob. You have to have that love for your city to know how to truly support AND enjoy its existence. They are the heart of the city!❣️❣️❣️
Saying that this is overpriced is horribly rude to the people there. Normal classic concerts are the price of usual concerts at starting 100$. The states prices are amateurs.
@@vehement. It’s a random opinion on the internet. It’s pixel letters. Time for you to touch some grass and worry about the world actually in front of you instead.
I just attended one of these concerts and cannot believe you felt the experience is overpriced. The amount of talent easily exceeds the price and the staff who coordinate and run the programs are so kind and hard working. Wow.
The reasoning from the creator is very clear. I wouldn't pay 30 euro for a candlelight concert with the candlelight being barely visible. For a little bit more you can see way more than 4 artists as well.
Mobile phones are only permitted on the final peice of music. I attended the coldplay string quartet tribute last night and it was breathtaking!! Superbly performed. For a candle lit string quartet in a church in Central London £39 is nothing. Tea and a cake will set you back £10 minimum!! 😂I think you are being slightly unfair in your comments.
@@SundaeDomingo An entry level Mcdonalds worker with little education are about to get a $20 minimum wage in California to fry fries. Mcdonalds fries are almost $5. This is not expensive at all, considering the training (time and money invested) by these trained musicians. $40 for an hour and a half of a beautiful experience in a historical California Mission? It was totally worth it for us.
Which church is this?.... I don't agree about it being overpriced, but do agree about the view. I'd be really disappointed with that. Sounds lovely though.
I totally understand why the fact that you literary can’t see anything of the candles or the artists from most of the seats makes the tickets overpriced. It’s not about the artists and not about the music, but about what you get for your money. And tbh there are lots of cheaper ways to experience classical music in much better ways, where youre actually able to see things.
Can you put price on art, hard work and dedication ? We live in an unusual era , where we pay 300£ to wach a football game live . I guess 50£ for a live unique classic music concert is just a pretext .
Recommendations: Research the venue before purchasing Buy zone A (front row seating) Arrive early to get the best spot (its not assigned seating, first come, first serve.) I had the exact opposite experience. Front row, awesome view, tons of candles. And the seating was 360 degrees around the performers, unlike this venue. Give it a try again following the above, I thought it was 100% worth the $.
The issue is, almost every big location in europe with proper view and acoustics (slope towards stage), have very high and strict security standards. Especially when it comes to fire protection. You can't even have decoration with the slightest chance of beeing a fire hazard. Yet alone having hundreds of burning candles placed all around. Makes sense in many cases, but it's still a shame that this takes the magic of such events like this.
I really loved the Candlelight concert I visited last year. It was a beautiiiful location and the musician were wonderful. The price is definitly NOT too much for that kind of music. Please just be a little bit more reflective if you upload videos like this.
usually, a concert starts at like 100 dollars or around there the musicians work hard… as someone who plays an instrument myself it is not easy… (^_^) 😅 not judging their opinion or yours just saying
Phones at classical concerts should be banned. Just my opinion. It really ruins the ambience with all it's random flashing and raised arms. Just chill and enjoy, no need to document your entire life on social media.
Thank you for sharing this video. It actually looks beautiful, inviting & enchanting. Love what these musicians are doing. You don’t look dressed for the occasion at all.
It IS overpriced! I’m a ballet dancer and y’all have to chill because it seems that this thing was poorly held in her area… Where I live tho it is TOTALLY worth it! You can clearly see the musicians surrounded by the candle lights (which is one of the major attractions) from most spots (not the case in this video)!
Yep! Seating can be an issue even if you turn up on time. The general public are not as courteous as they may have once been. These venues should allocate seating or get stewards in to assist with seating to prevent the evening bring ruined before you’ve even sat down🫤
Hearing live classical music for that price is certainly not overpriced. Lack of visibility is definitely a con, but that’s literally the price of two cocktails to witness professional artists. I don’t think the youth nor influencers respect or understand the hard work and dedication it takes to be an artist. They just film on a camera and expect instant gratification for pennies.
The thing is that, they already have their targeted audience. They know whom they are targeting. Such events are not for everyone. In business, every business has its target audience. You just have to ask yourself before going to everything you see online, I'm one of their targeted audience or not.
This was really helpful, I was on the fence with booking a concert and appreciate the insight on this. Thanks!

THIS... 100%
Not at all over priced. Its an amazing experience ❤
I don't think it's overpriced, but I think the comment about not seeing the candles is valid. I'd be incredibly disappointed
She’s talking about the location and that kind of stuff
Then they should find a better place to showcase that

Seriously, and the ones in the NY/NJ area only runs about $35-$65 which is definitely not expensive for 1 hour. I stand with you on the support

Overpriced? When people are paying hundreds of dollars for pop concerts in nosebleed sections, I don't think so.
crazy thing is that both concerts can be overpriced respectively lol

I guess visual for viewing candles ultimately comes down to paying extra for the premium tickets to be up front for viewing. You get what you pay for

I was on the fence as well. The quality of the musical performers/players seems lacking too. Thank you for your honest review!
Is this in amsterdam?
No Vienna. At Albertina
Saved me a ticket
Exactly what I was thinking
