Puppy Crate Training

Crate training is so important for all dogs to learn how to be comfortable in their own space when away from the family, but especially for puppies for things such as housebreaking.
Luna spent a day with us and we used her as an example to show how to work on calm crate exercises and crate "games" to get a dog to calm down when they are excitable or anxious in the crate.
Never let an adrenalized dog out of the crate or you will be reinforcing that energy and they will get worse over time.
Be sure your dog goes in and out of the crate when asked, acts calmly in the crate and does not exit in a frenzy.
