When I drank without thinking, my best mate and I got thoroughly sozzled in the Punch & Judy many moons ago. So much so, we didn’t know how to get back home again and I don’t live far from it at all. We did have fun though. My boyfriend rescued us 🤭 30 years later, I’m meeting an aunt I’ve never met before here, and we’re going to have a wander. Got some great tips from your two vids. I never knew about the Royal Opera House cafe and I know she’ll love to see Pollocks toy shop. 👍🏼
Must admit, love it there as pop in to look at the shop and a coffee and something sweet. Also if you get the chance do go into the Royal Opera House and go up top for the views over Covent Garden and the London roof tops - so worth going up there! Love the Transport Museum and we have a video on that and next month I have a video to publish on the trip to the Action Depot. Have a wonderful time and enjoy :)
I was a young Aussie girl working and living in London 50 years ago. Worked at the Strand Palace Hotel and lived in the staff apartments which backed onto Covent Garden when it was the markets then. Watching your vid and recognise a lot of the buildings, makes me so nostalgic! Hoping to revisit the UK next year and Covent Garden is one of the places on the top of my list to see. I'm told by my English friends that I will get such a surprise at the changes!
Wow, what a job and location - the whole thing must have been a great experience! Yes so much changes so quick, so it will be a surprise. Thanks so much for watching and commenting 👍😀
Covent Garden and markets perfect Sunday morning 🌄. I used to love 💘❤💕 Pollocks toy museum but could never afford them 😢😔. That food at Neal's yard looked delicious and on another video 📹 the choice 😋 was something else. Conduit course would make me feel dizzy 😵🙃. I am subscribed to the London transport site and would buy so much in there. I remember the paint 🎨 underground 🚇 map. The old travel posters 😍 are just beautiful. I'm not sure I 😕 could walk walk through the bridge of aspiration, though showed how nice 😀😄👍 the Royal opera house restaurant was before. The 2 videos have made me love 💘❤💕😍 Covent Garden even more 😍.
Wow, the paint the underground map is probably now a collector's piece!Pollock's is amazing and If I can find it - I bought a pop up theatre to give away on Wednesday's London Lookabout.....
Enjoyed the video but have trouble understanding you. Your consonants come through but not your vowels. Sounds like you're almost breathing in when you speak. In all fairness I am old but I am a professional musician and worked with singers all my life. Breathe. Thank you.
