They do have some great architects, and the will to implement their visions. Many countries / cities have forgotten about the importance of inner-city architecture and just build any old rubbish dog-box cookie-cutter buildings sadly.
I am heading to London soon and this was honestly the best travel guide video I have seen so far! So beautifully cinematic and informative. I love how you included things to do nearby and gave an aerial view of the neighborhoods. I feel more confident for this trip and feel like I really have a lay of the land
Just returned from our week in London. Agree with everything in this vid. British Museum, Natural History, Tate Modern - awesome and free. Cutty Sark - fee, but well worth it. National Maritime - good and free. Royal Observatory - fee and rather small, but interesting for those science-minded.
Fantastic roundup of the best London museums! Your recommendations are spot-on. Can't wait to explore these cultural gems and follow up with the post-museum adventures. Thanks for the great insights! 🇬🇧
I always look forward to your videos. And this one is both aesthetically lovely and quite helpful for travelling to London. Please do continue with your plans for future videos. I'm sure I'll appreciate them too.♡
Hi, the composition of wide angle shots for the entrance, etc are beautiful & thoughtful! The narration is quite deep, informative, yet easy to catch for intermediate non native speaker of English who wants to know UK & the world & improve the English at the same time. The most important thing in most of your channel, you have quite an awesome English dialect that gives advantage for improving Pronunciation & Listening. Plus, how you tell the stories of places are systematic, easy for my brain to catch & grasp about the places.
Your narration is always spot on! Suggesting places nearby the museums was really helpful ,I'm planning to visit London in August 2022 but I'm looking forward to visit England every year so I hope to see more England in general related content in the future.Just subbed X
I hope someday travel to London and meet these fantastic places, the history, the art and the science are for my the best spaces of knowlodgind, this video is a good resume about place for meeting ❤
For a smaller, more intimate experience, my favorite is Sir John Soane's Museum, a short walk from the British Museum. The personal collection is fascinating, and the architecture is wonderful.
As an American i must say London is one of my favorite cities. I've been to the British museum to see the Egypt exhibition. But I look forward to seeing more. Love your videos ❤❤❤
I’ve been to London many times and visited most of your recommendations however you gave some good ideas for our next visit this summer. First will be Somerset House which I’ve not seen and a return to my favorite, Victoria and Albert Museum.
I’m glad you mentioned that part about the “British” Museum, it’s a great museum and one of my favourites but that aspect of it puts me off of visiting it now.
Somerset House is also home to the Courtauld Gallery, which is great -- lots of Impressionist and Post-Impressions paintings. Very much worth seeking out if you're an art lover.
I'd really like to see that street food markets video!. I've also loved this one, so well edited and full of useful information. Keep the good work going please 👏👏👏 and congrats on the channel! (I've been binge watching most of the videos and now I miss London more than ever lol)
I really love your videos and especially your sense of humour. I also live in London and it’s wonderful seeing it from someone else’s eyes. Please keep your much appreciated videos coming.
Much appreciated by someone who just relocated to London from the US this year - still taking my time exploring the city's offerings. Great insights and can I say your narration is soothing as hell to listen too. Would certainly like to see a London markets video and, of course, any additional London food vids. :)
I had the great pleasure to live in London in the mid 80's during my semester abroad program from Guilford College, Greensboro, NC in the US. It was the best time of my life. We lived in the Hyde Park West Hotel off Nottinghill Gate. I was there for 6 months. My favorite gallery was the Tate. I am eager to return and visit all that I saw with the addition of the Tate Modern. What a wonderland of history, beauty and delight.
Thank you for the tips and tricks in this vlog, very useful...we are planning to visit London in 2023 straight from the Australian Outback, so this is a good starting point in our research phase. All the best 👍🏼
Near Tate Britain: just across the river is the Garden Museum in an old church. On a good day, go up the church tower for a really good view. Also, in the City, the Guildhall Art Gallery and Roman Amphitheatre.
Hello Suitcase Monkey Awesome video will be great for those planning a visit to London. I would add one more museum, the Imperial War Museum to a must see. In the future when they are done their refurbishment the Coultard art gallery at Somerset house. Looking forward to the next one. Take Chris and Sandra if Canada.
I'm excited for more London content! I originally found this channel because of your 5 day guide and I was planning a trip to London. Pandemic obviously cancelled that, but I'm still learning and discovering more for when I actually can travel there. I can't wait!
It's also worth noting that Tate Britain houses the largest collection of paintings by JMW Turner (one of my favourite painters) and I plan on visiting there in 5 weeks time when I'll be in London! I'll also make sure to visit the Battersea Power Station (made famous by Pink Floyd) which is just a short walk away from Tate Britain, so it's perfect really as both buildings are within close proximity to eachother.
For me, as a former Londoner, it’s the planetarium, Imperial War Museum and London Transport Museum which I enjoyed going to many times. The latter two never get boring as the continuously add more and more stuff all the time. The Museum of London is also amazing but it has just sadly closed for a few years.
wow, this video couldn’t have come at a better time! i’m 19 and have been planning my first ever solo trip to london to visit both the V&A and national gallery. i’m a history student and absolutely love museums, and these 2 are just world class. i will have to do a second visit to do the Tate as well! thank you so much for all the info, and the nearby cafes were really helpful too :)
Another exceedingly wonderful video! I’ve always skipped the Cutty Sark but I’ll go in now. Your choice of shots and your framing is very well done - thank you.
Very good, and thanks for not being chauvinistic. Two of my favorites are both National Galleries: one in London (UK), and one in Washington, DC (USA).
i am so happy i found your videos!! Though my trip to London has been postponed three times, i have rebooked for fall 2022, and watching any of your videos is delightfully entertaining, but the London videos are my favorites. when my sister announced she is heading there with her husband and son, i insisted she watch all of them!! Thank you so much for the wonderful content and clever narration!
I just discovered your channel & I love your content💗. I'm super excited to be traveling next month to the UK and to check out some of those sites you made mentioned in your Vlog. I appreciate the way you present the information and how it is truly from the eyes of a native son🇬🇧. With 💜 from Michigan, 🇺🇸
WOW! I immediately subscribed; what an amazing "show" (it reminds me of a good television show)! The narration is so much fun and the editing is perfect. I loved it.
Your narration of London's best Museums is clear and concise. Every time Harriet and I ( Jim) go to london we take in some Museums. The choices were just right. Love you guys. Like to see you more often. Be Well my friends. Harriet and Jim . Richmond, Va.
This was great! Helps us narrow down (or confirm) which museums we're going to visit when we visit London. Love your videos!! I was very excited to see a new one after so long. 😊👍
Thank you for this video! I'm going to London this June (2022) and this is really helping me plan ahead, especially getting to know where everything is at ahead of time. I'm thinking of going to the british museum, natural history museum, natural gallery, and tate modern!
Don't forget the sensational Wallace Collection in Manchester's Square and the Sir John Soane museum in Lincoln's Inn Fields. Both more than worth a visit.
Other smaller museums i'd reccommend are sir john soanes museum, the wallave collection(near oxford street for a more bridgerton fix and also has a nice courtyard cafe) and dont miss the national portrait gallery around the corner from the national gallery lots of historical portraits and many fascinating modern ones of famous people and a good shop for buying images of your heroes like writers etc.
I'd add the Guildhall, an art gallery with the remains of a Roman ampitheatre in the basement, and - a bit out of the way, perhaps - the Horniman museum, a sort of overgrown cabinet of curiosities.
One of my favourite cafes is in the basement of the victoria and albert museum (next to the natual history museum) the decor is amazing stained glass and tiles and they sometimes have a pianist.
Thank you for another beautiful video about this amazing city 🙏🏼 My favorite museum is the V&A. Because of Covid i wasn‘t able to visit London for the last 2 years, but watching your videos brings it a little bit closer to me ☺️
A great selection of museums. I have been to a few over my several trips to London, with the Natural history museum being my favourite listed. I also love Windsor castle, which although outside London, was an easy train trip/day out. The Military museum was also fantastic, although I mainly went for a paid exhibition on the 1950s.
Great video. Even I found the V&A the best of the 3 I visited in London. We visited the National Gallery on a friend's suggestion and we are glad we visited it. Would love it if you can do a video on wandering around seven dials.
The buildings themselves are works of art. I love the architecture of London. Can't wait to go back for an extended visit to enjoy the museums.
They do have some great architects, and the will to implement their visions. Many countries / cities have forgotten about the importance of inner-city architecture and just build any old rubbish dog-box cookie-cutter buildings sadly.
100% with you! What a fantastic city!
5:42 this really good joke holds an important message that it's the viewer's engagement that ultimately validates an artwork as "art"
My Museum Studies degree isnt worth much at the moment but I can say with authority that this is an excellent range of London museums 😄
Always love your videos, composition, and content!
As a Pakistani I must say London is one of my favorites places ❤
One of the best travel vlog channel, keep posting man.

The V & A is my favourite, and you did a lovely job capturing it! Yes
It's one of mine as well!

Excellent list. I’d also add the Museum of London, which is a really thorough look at the city’s history.
Your narration is always spot on! Suggesting places nearby the museums was really helpful ,I'm planning to visit London in August 2022 but I'm looking forward to visit England every year so I hope to see more England in general related content in the future.Just subbed X

I’ve been to London many times and visited most of your recommendations however you gave some good ideas for our next visit this summer. First will be Somerset House which I’ve not seen and a return to my favorite, Victoria and Albert Museum.
Very informative & good video ! It's good to watch your video when travel overseas is not possible.

Thank you for this video, it comes in very handy as I'm planning a trip to London with my teenage daughter for Nov 2023. So many great places to see.
Near Tate Britain: just across the river is the Garden Museum in an old church. On a good day, go up the church tower for a really good view. Also, in the City, the Guildhall Art Gallery and Roman Amphitheatre.
All your London videos are awesome! Beautiful videography and very eye catching visuals! I am binge watching all of them 😊
Hello Suitcase Monkey
Awesome video will be great for those planning a visit to London. I would add one more museum, the Imperial War Museum to a must see. In the future when they are done their refurbishment the Coultard art gallery at Somerset house. Looking forward to the next one. Take Chris and Sandra if Canada.

Hi there! That’s great to hear. Yes, in hindsight I realized I’m quite cafe obsessed. Lol glad you enjoyed!
6:12-6:18 Somerset House was one of the filming locations of the holiday film "Love Actually," set mostly in London. AND it has a skating scene!
john soane museum is an excellent quirky alternative to the mainstream museums
Amazing!!! Thank you for the video! I´m new in London and this makes my life really easy to visit Museums!!
Another exceedingly wonderful video! I’ve always skipped the Cutty Sark but I’ll go in now. Your choice of shots and your framing is very well done - thank you.

Appreciate locals suggestions when I plan travel. In my way to London soon!
Thank you very much for this excellent video.
Don't forget the sensational Wallace Collection in Manchester's Square and the Sir John Soane museum in Lincoln's Inn Fields. Both more than worth a visit.
It’s just called Manchester Square but those are 2 brilliant options, especially the weirdness of Sir John Soane’s museum.

The stained glass wondows are by burne jones
