I started watching this video thinking it would be just another fanmade cheesy TH-cam video. Turned out to be fantastic editing in line with the score with perfect rhythm and timing and not one of the clips were repeated. 10/10
Goldfinger is by far the movie that made Bond great. What came before worked, but this film worked perfectly to start the franchise's spiral of popularity.
I love Goldfinger(1964)! Actually, I love all the first 3 Bond movies very much! However, for me, the first 3 films are still that "James Bond begins" territory. The first hugely important and big James Bond film is THUNDERBALL(1965)!!! Aspect ratio 2,35:1 was sooooooo much better than 1,66:1 or 1,185:1 or whatever! In Thunderball, everything was ready. Now James Bond character was 100% complete. Thunderball & You Only Live Twice were epic Bond films!!!

Nice editing of both music and video . Goldfinger established Bond into stardom. It set off the Bond craze . Connery , Barry's music and Binders editing during the main theme song and the beautiful women made you know you were watching a 007 film .. The sixties made Bond a icon . .
Actually, Maurice Binder didn't do the title sequence for Goldfinger. He had had a slight falling out with the producers after Dr. No so prominent UK graphic designer Robert Brownjohn stepped in to do From Russia With Love and Goldfinger. Binder then came back on board for the titles to Thunderball (and beyond).

They just don't make James Bond films like this anymore. The best we have had was a lager thug trying to play 007. Should have stayed with P.B.
