This was a great review on a really nice CFM bike. You mentioned cfmoto sxs's & 4 wheelers. I've been a loyal owner of both since 2018. They aren't the best in any one category compared to other brands(other than in price/value and what you get for your money where they are unmatched). They are just solid in every other aspect. They have a great warranty program...and to the people like myself who have owned them for any length of time...most would agree their sxs's and quads have a Honda dependability and quality feel to them. Oddly enough....cfmoto has been making both ATV's/UTV's for over 30 years. They sell more of both worldwide than any other brand out there....and that includes Polaris and Can Am. As for their motorcycle lineup. They own 51% of KTM and have done so since 2015. In fact....most of KTM'S sport bike models come down the same assembly line as CFM's naked and faired sport bikes do. And the KTM Duke models bare a striking resemblance to cfmoto's NK line. If you hang onto that CL-X for any length of time....you'll find yourself wondering how a company in China has broken the barrier and manages to make something that rivals other prominent bike manufacturers with a noticebly better price point. A lot of people nay say on CFM...but to anyone who actually owns anything bearing the CFM name...we figure it out pretty quick. They make a dang good product. Best of luck with yours...I hope you continue to like it.

They do f own 51% of ktm; they are owned by an Austrian company -98% and Bajaj, an Indian company.
You may be thinking of a plant in china where China owns 51%? That is par for the course. I worked in China for 13 years and the communist party forces foreign firms to take a lower position than Chinese firms.

Hi since you have been riding it for a while, maybe you can answer a question for me. When you first got it, did you have any issues with the fuel sensor? Cause when the fuel gauge hits one bar, I go to fill the tank. And, fills up with less than two gallons. Yet, the bike has a 3.4 gallon tank. Also, the trip mileage only gets the 70s when it gets down to one bar. Or, does it get better the more you ride? I'm still breaking in my bike. Any help to understand my issue would greatly be appreciated

Great value as a first bike for the wife coz where I live it's hella cheaper than the MT07, SV650 & CB650R. Apart from the dodgy fuel gauge & somewhat grabby clutch (not as much room in the friction zone as we'd like), we were quite surprised how well built it is. She really appreciated the Eco mode which made the bike especially non-threatening during her beginner days, now she rides in Sports mode which churns out more than enough power to see her through the next few years as she gains more experience before thinking of getting something else.

@@bikesmicsandbeers3812 There are QA issues. Fuel gauge stopped working after a week, sometimes it tells me there is no oil in it, Fairings are held on with Velcro onto the tank, very ill fitting fairings. Lower fairing design just pushed hot air onto your upper legs and crotch, anything under 35mph just cooks your crotch after 20 minutes. Oh and it burps coolant, its a very hot running bike, I suspect the radiator is not good enough. Slow speed, commuting, and technical riding is a no go on this thing. No matter what I like about it, it gets nullified with your crotch being on fire. Its been very hot lately and if I were to ride it, I would end up with a heat stroke. I would tell you go test ride it at slow speed or even a parking lot for about 5-10 minutes at slow speed you will realize how big of a problem it is.
