Whoops! I forgot to add this in the video. If you guys have darker skin, you can add cream foundation over the wound. Other brands, like Ben Nye, also sell darker scar wax. I am not sure about Graftobian if they sell darker colors, but you guys could always check out their website. Like I said, this was my first time using their brand of wax.
Me being a recovering self harmer I REALLY appreciate your warning on Instagram. Even though I didn't take it, I thought it was so considerate. I love your channels and I've watched all your looks, you're a huge inspiration to me.
so glad for the trigger warning ive never had problems with cuts in that area but the idea of a cut going over a vein always gives me the willies i was prepared for what was about to be shown and it was actually pretty awesome
You are so very talented, and a great inspiration. I've shown my son (14 and low level autistic) your videos to further inspire his love of art. He loves to sit and watch your tutorials with me. Thank you so much.
I saw the thumbnail and cringed. I just had two moles removed about 3 weeks ago and my stitches dissolved last Monday. The scars went from all bumpy to flat and shiny with red, raised cut line. They hurt and are tender and my back muscles still spasm and cramp. Stitches on the wrist like that would make me go insane. Luckily the moles were not cancerous.
Hey I have 4 big moles on my neck and I really want them removed. What was the operation like for you and I'm scared ill end up with scars that look worse than the moles did.
Taleigha Dwyer Okay, the local Anesthesia isn't bad, much less than a medication shot. After you are numbed, you literally cannot feel ANY of the cutting. The bad part is the sewing of the stitches, they dont exactly hurt but you can FEEL the tug of every stitch, so that takes some mental discipline to endure. Funny thing is during the stitching I felt a bit of pain and I told her and she just stabbed me with it in another location and I didn't care at all. I recommend a pillow, as I had to lie still in the same position for 30 minutes. After the surgery it is a bit scary to move, and you should baby the area for about two days, then stretch a little so your skin does not get tight. After the numbness wears off, you will have a deep burning and stinging sensation in the cuts, muscle cramps, and spasms. Air conditioning is a must, sweat irritates and makes the stitches burn and ache. As of right now, my scars are tender and I get occasional mild cramps and spasms. They hurt a bit under pressure but it is bearable. I wouldn't worry about the scars, I would worry about the possibility of cancer if you did not have them removed. Have a dermatologist inspect them and go from there.
Can I just tell you you are the best TH-cam ever! All of your videos help me figure out what I want to dress up as and the make up!! (I'm 11 by the way) and I love your videos so so much! You inspire me for my art work too! Just keep doing what your doing!!
I love your videos so much and I also appreciated how you mentioned it as being a possible trigger, not many people would think to do that. Keep up the good work..
3rd degree is THE BEST!!! I love it SO much! I feel like wax is something more people understand though, and they can usually find it at the Halloween store. Silicone rocks.
Its true wax is much easier and cost effective! I think i am just spoiled because i work at a store that sells everything i could ever want for fx makeup so i get to play with it all of the time! Great work on the tutorials by the way!!
Thank you so much for including the trigger warning. I don't need it necessarily but I know many people probably will. And thanks for sharing your badass talents with us! Love your videos!
I seriously love your tutorials they're so entertaining :) I might go into makeup for movies and stuff so this is really interesting for me :) thanks lex!
is the scar wax expensive? I would really like to try out one of your looks on halloween (either this or the bruise)..you are so talented lex! love from Malta xx
I've never really used scar wax but i have watched a lot of videos were they use it and it looks like you had the easiest time working with this one. Now i now if i ever need scar wax get that kind. Thanks for showing us it.
Hey Lex, first off I just want to say you're amazing and so talented! And I also have a request on a makeup tutorial. I was think a comic book style make up, like The Walking Dead video game.
MadeYewLook Lex you are one of my favorite Makeup Artists... I love watching all you character videos and then some. You are by far the best one that I have found. You videos are also very clear, which is a big plus for me. You inspire me so much! I even told my husband that I wanted your Brust set for our anniversary coming up. lol :P He is over seas right now... lol He to loves your Halloween editions. You truly do Inspire me to work hard and to focus of a passion of mine. :D
Does anybody have any like suggestions on what a new artist should buy? The only paints I have a grease paints that you get for like a dollar at Halloween stores and I've never liked them. I typically end up using eyeshadow and eyeliner for most of my body/face paints.
Hi! I love watching your videos Lex and I love trying them out at home, I've tried so many of you make up designs, and I think you're amazing! :) I can't wait to see what you come up with for halloween x
This is so cool 😱 yet a little freaky at the same time 😂 I've literally seen all your videos on here and your second channel and there is not one I've disliked never quit what your doing it's amazing 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
I'm quite new to your channel but might I just say that from what I've seen so far you're amazing, this is all beautifully made and I'm looking forward to see what you're going to do next. (And I'm not fond of lying and i don't give compliments often, so I really do think you're talented) ^^
Eyugh. This is so creepy and disgusting and realistically disturbing. I love it. And I am LOVING this whole series you're doing. I'm often having to sift through TH-cam videos to find long, rambly tutorials that may or may not have what I'm searching for. Thank you so much for this!!!
i remember when you had like 85.000 subs and now 600.000 i hope you hit 1.000.000 soon you deserve it you are amazing and my sister definitely agrees that s unusual hahha love you lexxxxxxx♥

LIFE ADVICE, IM TELLING YOU.
Me being a recovering self harmer I REALLY appreciate your warning on Instagram. Even though I didn't take it, I thought it was so considerate. I love your channels and I've watched all your looks, you're a huge inspiration to me.
THE BRUSH SETS ARE NOW BACK IN STOCK! www.madeulookbylex.com - Also, did youtube change its layout, or is it just me?
I wonder if I should tap the spirit gum or not
I love that she gave a trigger warning she's so wonderful idek
I think I have a girl crush on her
so glad for the trigger warning
ive never had problems with cuts in that area but the idea of a cut going over a vein always gives me the willies
i was prepared for what was about to be shown and it was actually pretty awesome
"little bit of graphic content, little bit of gore"
You mean almost every video? XD
Hahaha! That is true!
is it weird that i actually like cringe when she's sticking stuff in the wound but then i remember that it's not even real
it would be awesome if you did characters from old, classic films like the wizard of oz and turned them into really creepy people/things :D
Just a thought, but for your next make up tutorial you should do Dr Frank N. Furter from Rocky Horror Picture show :)
AHHH THIS MAKES ME WANT TO BUY ALL THE THINGS AND DO ALL THE THINGS BUT I CAN'T BECAUSE BROKE.
Yes all caps is necessary.
What microphone do you use to record your voiceovers? Your videos always have such clear sound quality :)
Seeing this at 1:00 in the morning and attempting to plan my halloween costume already. I'm slightly insane at this hour.
Meaning basically anytime I watch your videos
Not only are you super talented, you are so kind to your fans! Watching your videos makes me want to do all this stuff. Thank you for the inspiration!
I live for your Halloween tutorials. I sincerely love you. You are my favourite makeup artist.
Lex you should totally do your own MadeYewLook SFX Make Up line at some point, and ship internationally!!! ^_^
oooh this tutorial gives me shivers, this is so realisitic and i still always forget that its just make up! amazing work!
You are so very talented, and a great inspiration. I've shown my son (14 and low level autistic) your videos to further inspire his love of art. He loves to sit and watch your tutorials with me. Thank you so much.
