I miss content like this. No one seems to do it anymore. There's so much talk about fountain pen burnout lately. Learning to love what you have and doing some treasure hunting will take care of that! I love Bobby Pens. I have a few of the #5 slightly bent nibs and I really like them. I order a bag of nibs every few months, do a major cleaning and swap some nibs around. It's a great way to get something new and maybe turn that pen you don't use into something you really like. I usually order a couple of these unusual pens too.I was looking for that WS 239 a few months ago. That's going in the cart. I'm not sure if he still stocks the Hero 395 Copper Rod. I don't like small, thin pens but that nib and the copper with the interesting design makes up for it. It's my purse pen and could easily be a pocket pen. The aerometric converter comes out and can be replaced with a standard international cartridge/converter. Best thing? It's well under $10. The Hero 240 is another favorite. It has a trianglular nib and it writes so smoothly. Again, only a couple of dollars and it's something with a very different nib.

Perfect. We enjoy our pens. Thankfully there are many affordable ones for us. Thanks for watching.

I always love seeing pens from Bobby. Being able to share this hobby from across so many language and national boundaries is inspiring!

Thanks Chris for this review, Bobby's intervention is also very important and interesting. I took Montefiore from him, a fountain pen with a natural large empathy with Steampunk style. Really interesting! The famous Hero 3802 which is part of the fountains with superimposed nibs, like Duke Uranus. Beautiful Chris illustration, thanks again!

Thanks for chris's wonderful sharing. In fact, I have stopped selling many old stock pens, some of which are due to inventory reasons, such as selling one and missing one, and some are due to quality problems. However, old srock pens, more or less, will have various problems due to long storage time, so in order to avoid unnecessary after-sales troubles, I have decided to stop selling them. But I hope these pens that have appeared in Chinese history can let more people know. Although many of them were modeled after Western designs😅

The W pen is the most interesting of the bunch. I looked on the website and couldn't find it.
I do like his bent nibs a lot. They are very smooth.

What an interesting group of pens you got. You really caught my interest when you showed the pliers. I tried to get a pair of those pliers, but only God knows where they went cause they never showed up in my mailbox!! I wouldn't mind seeing them in action if you ever decide to do some sort of review.

    Love those inlaid nibs!
Is Hero still around? Haven't seen anything from them in a while. I need a new cap for a Hero 1000 but can't find anything.
