BIG THANKS! I was going to the junkyard to spend 85 bucks on a used AC Control Module. (The white electronics box that is mounted behind the controls), but decided to do a little more internet research first. I GOT LUCKY AND CAME ACROSS YOUR VIDEO! I used a soft toothbrush and some spray contact cleaner so I could thoroughly clean the connector on the ribbon cable and the socket on the back of the controls. You saved me time and money. IT WORKED FOR ME.
My defrost was not working at all, and my AC would just turn on randomly. Tried this took like 3min and it works perfectly. Thanks for posting saved me from buying new parts or going to a shop.
Cheers mate, my heater started blasting randomly at me today. I cleaned up the plug terminals and now it's back to normal, even better than it was before!
Thank you this fixes my issue was blowing out hot heat all the rime..when off..now i have ac and my defrost works again..yeah...its is only 80 degrees today
Wow man!!!! You are magic! I have a problem with this unit... did not change the direction of air! Now all is very good! Thanks again! Guys, tell me. In a position where air is blowing on the windshield and in the legs, is it possible to turn on the circulation? I switch circulation in this mode.
Just showing how the middle console comes out was a big help for my 2007 350z. Took it to a dealership that unhooked my hazards and didn't reconnect them, (only found out they didn't work when driving in a downpour), thanks for showing this! I was shocked how easy it was to access that center console. Anyways, I have an A/C problem where I get cold air at the vent but the blower fan doesn't work. Not sure if its the control module, blower motor relay, and I know its not the blower motor itself as I've already replaced it. Ever experienced a similar issue?
Good Video ... I have a similar problem with my Subaru Tribeca B9 AC system that won't turn off. None of the AC buttons work, it feels like they're all stuck on the ON position and the monitor shows weird signals as opposed to the degree Celcius, etc. I couldn't find a similar youtube video for Subaru though. I will use this video as a template to see if I can figure out a way to fix my Subaru! Any suggestions?

Can anyone tell me what size the bolts are that hold the AC module (white box behind the dials) in? Mine was just hanging there not held in by anything, and I'm guessing that's why my cable came loose.
This started happening to me when my battery went bad. I reset the entire car by changing the battery and it worked fine im not sure if the cleaning actually fixes it or the unplugging... either way it works!
I have a 07 enthusiast coupe. 130k.. It's been really dependable. Have done a to bearing, brake job...regular maintenance. The rack is starting to seep, did lower control arms, Link pins ....about to replace ball joints, compression arms, and upper control arms. The engine has been solid. 07 hr. Rack is next. Tires.,...Change the oil and love it. DQ engine right?
I changed the blower, the transistor, the blower bottoms, fuses, relays but it still doesn’t turn off, so you have any other suggestions for how to fix this problem?
My 350z ac blows when the vehicle is being accelerated. The fan speed stays on HIGH, despite being on a lower speed setting. So the speed setting will only stay on high despite the setting, and it only comes on intermittently. It has freon, so I'm thinking it's the resistor? Mine turns off, when placed in the off position.
My ac is stuck on high and the ac control lights are not cut on and have no function. Everything worked fine until I put a new radio in it and hooked it back together and that's when the problems started any help?
Did you mess with the temp control panel it has a white thick strip idk what that's called but it controls it, if u messed or damaged that it might be the problem since you have mess with it in order to install a new sterio
the interior is awful lol only thing useful are the gauges... i already removed most of it out to make it a real track car!!, was planning on leaving the ac but if it continues to turn on i will remove it.
Went to auto zone and the lady did this with me she said the wiring wasn't bad so she doesn't know what could be making it still blow, she said maybe I need a new knob
If this helps you out and would like to chip in even $1 as a thanks that would be greatly appreciated

Did it work?
Hello did it work?
This worked...the first time around. Looks like it might be coming back though... Wonder if it's more serious?
Try cleaning the pins with isophytol alcohol or electrical spray cleaner.

Awesome, thanks for sharing your experience
Worked! I used a toothbrush and some Vodka :)
I just got a 2005 Roadster with low miles 29,000 miles. I luv my car, just wondering how is urs holding up with 130,000 miles?
It's more maintenance than I expected, but it depends on how it's been cared previously. Congrats on your Z!

BRO HUGEE THANKS
Anyone know how to do this on a 2006 standard transmission? I don't have the same type of shifter and can't lift it the same.
I changed the blower, the transistor, the blower bottoms, fuses, relays but it still doesn’t turn off, so you have any other suggestions for how to fix this problem?
did you fix this? mine does exactly the same
@@cmoneyz1370 did you fix this

Thank you so much, save me $1billion 🤩
Cool man I'll give this a shot. I just figured the cable was shorted.
Awesome, good luck!
good stuff, brother.
Do it work the same on a 2005 nissan maxima?
Beautiful Kayy I also have a 2005 Maxima with the air stuck on. My controls display correctly on the screen, though.
???
Got it fixed yet?
Jacky Kimes got it fixed ?
Does anybody know what to do about the circulation stuck on cabin? I can't get it to switch
What if the blower fan stop working?
Thanks 👍👍👍
Where’s the g35 coupe wire. !!! Same problem.
Mvp 💯 👍

I can't get the wires to disconnect
Try using a flat head screwdriver and pry it out. It's a clip that needs to be pushed in while the entire plug pulls out.
Thank you tried this whole thing you did just not no luck 😔 still blowing 😩
Went to auto zone and the lady did this with me she said the wiring wasn't bad so she doesn't know what could be making it still blow, she said maybe I need a new knob
Very helpful even in 2024 🫡 thank you dude
