Mr. Grimm is the inverse of Sweet Tooth in the ending department. Mr. Grimm holds the unfortunate 2-6 record and a pair of 3-game losing streaks, wherein he treated souls as drugs (TM2), wanted the *SOLE* of Calypso (TMIII), his parrot was a casualty (TM4), gets eaten by the horrors of Halloween Land (TM:SB), learns mortality and it's consequences the hard way (TM:HO), and attempting a time paradox (TM2012).
Mr. Grimm has always been my favorite character in the Twisted Metal franchise. Honestly, I blame him for my obsession with skeletons, motorcycle helmets, and leather jackets, as I knew him before I knew about Ghost Rider. For context, I grew up poor in a small town and didn't learn about Ghost Rider until about '05. On the other hand, twisted Metal 1 & 2 were some of the only games I had on PS1. His endings have also consistently been my favorite in the franchise, his lost TM1 ending being my favorite ending in the entire franchise. While I like both TM Black and 2012's Mr. Grimm, I will take the actual Grimm Reaper any day over them. I hope the Peacock series takes the TM1/2 route with him, but I won't be too disappointed if he's just a guy. Forgot to add this off-topic, but my second favorite ending is the Lost ending for Hammerhead. "WE WANT BABES!" makes me lose it every time I hear it.
Since you done Sweet Tooth and Mr. Grimm, I think Warthog would be fitting for the next one. I mean sure it doesn't have a consistent driver, or even vehicle, but it is in every game.
I did Spectre and Roadkill already, but in a more casual commentary format. I was not planning on coming back to them until I cover a few other characters. But if everyone wants Roadkill, I don’t mind!
The Twisted Metal 4 ending was cheeky tho. Like you said, Grimm is already dead so he figured that since he is basically immortal he can just kill Sweet Tooth for free. Too bad he forgot to put his parrot someplace safe XD
tm black grimm and 2012 grimm are such tragic and badass characters, in completely different ways. even though i’d never play as the motorcycle(i prefer medium-heavy cars like thumper and meat wagon), the character of grimm will always be one of my favorites
What you described was a deleted ending that didn't make it in the final version. Just like how Sweet Tooth had another 2 alternate endings where he does find his daughter but now she has a clown mask as well and he gets killed in the fight. And another ending was Sweet Tooth finding his daughter and killing her getting his wish granted.

How he was redesigned for TM Black is prolly my favorite. Don't get me wrong the Reaper of wayward souls on a motorcycle is metal as fuck. But a mind broken Veitnahm veteran who is also a cannibal. That's something that's just brutal. It's Metal going to Death Metal. Plus him making Benny's human skull as his helmet is the icing on the already Twisted "Pun intended" but brutal cake.
Motorcycles with extended front forks and longer handlebars aren't exactly _common,_ but they definitely exist, often as a variation in the Chopper style of bike.
I played Twisted Metal 2012 with my cousin and we never used Reeper because of his low health until we figured out the flaming chainsaw thing, after that he became the main vehicle we used

His Twisted Metal 1-inspired look that was teased bodes well, though.

Mr. Grimm is and always has been OP af. He's probably got the highest skill ceiling in all the games. His Twisted Metal 3 version is by far my favorite *Edit* YES I will admit I played TM 2 probably more than any other game in the franchise and it is amazing but I still stand by 3 as the height of the series from the OG Playstation days. This was a well done video, fun and well narrated. New sub incoming!

Hey Drew, I have a solution for your controller issue. The PS4 controller does support the motion controls, and with a Brook dongle, you can play your PS3 games with a PS4 controller! It's a huge upgrade and feels super comfortable compared to the PS3 controller. Let me know if you need any more information about it. I'd love to hear how much you like it when you get it. The Brook is $45.
