Some of the pros we interview for Get Set Up aren't so picky about their set ups, but Zero and DC pro Chris Cole isn't one of them. Cole takes a pretty calculated approach to his ride which may in part help explain why his style and consistency is so dialed. Rocking his signature Blacklight deck from Zero, Thunder trucks, Spitfire wheels and a sheet of Mob on top, you can safely take your cues from Cole when it comes to getting yourself laced with new skate gear. When I took my boys to a signing at Val surf a few years ago and Chris Cole was there , he was so nice to my boys and very personable and they even took a few snap shots with him. Keep up the god work Chris,p.s. they both have a lot of your Omit shirts,Mom is yet to get one,,I love the positive Message! Funny how he says he rides in 8 .25 truck on an 8.3 and that it's better for grinds because it slightly smaller than the deck when 149's are actually 8.5 trucks which means they're slightly bigger than the deck.

@@gonzo13ist im looking at the Indy size chart on another tab at the moment and it says 149 : 8.25-8.38, so they are exactly what he should have on that board, not too big not too small they just right....
Conor judge there is also thunder 151 I'm not exactly sure about size and how thunder measure theirs and whether it have to do with hanger is longer on some of thunder trucks compared to indy or how to is if I remember then thunder 147 is maybe about 8.00 and as you said for indy it is 139 then indy 144 as you said 8.25 which is the most recent size added for indy trucks but how they are measured i cant remember and didnt really figure out totally, 148 on thunder I'm not sure if it then is 8.25 or little bigger or what ever like that or if they have sizes little in middle or 8.25 and 8.5 or what it is I'm not really sure but I have at home here thunder 148 and indy 139 at home i just looked at them I could see that thunder was tiny bit wider but I couldn't figure if it it may have been what would equal 8.125 or 8.25 or something in not quite sure I just looked at them I could see some little difference but not too extremely big. But it's good question its littlefunny this with sizes of trucks and also kind of annoying at times but also one then just need to know to know how it is made lol with all theese kind of ways of mentioning sizes for trucks.
@@s.ibnihenry.abdullah2165 thunders numbers are different than indys, 149 thunders is for 8.25-8.5 boards, if your using a 8.5 it will be slightly smaller than your board

i ride 52s because i skate street as much as i skate the park and the cracks feel a bit smoother, but ive had 50s half as much and they turn into 49s etc quicker thats all. but if you skate street mostly 50s are the way to go just about the right size for all your flip tricks...it also depends on how wide you want your wheels to be id suggest googling what the width does so you can cater to your needs accordingly

Myles Goldman I know, I don't think he fits on Plan B. Zero had like dark goth type graphics while plan B has bright simple graphics. I feel he would have fit better on like death wish or creature opposed to Plan B.

if you guys noticed chris here just gave us a preview of spitfires new F4 formula, its suppose to be like Bones STF's, cant wait for the release, i think summer 13 or fall 13
This is one year prior to the release of spitfires formula four. Look at the wheels. It says formula 4 team edt! On a nice shape they don't come in now.
and they change their boards all the time and that shit is perforated so you can set up quick, i mean i dont have much of an eye for putting on grip flawlessly without airbubbles theres always some that escape the first go for me at least and sometimes i cant popem with a blade so mob is perfect

damn these boards an their tech, so smart.......i remember when zeros were sticky as all hell till you brokem in with like 50 boardslides o wait they still are so now you have the option thats nice of zero to wise up because mysteries are the same way, and i am also glad that they didnt do away with the stikyness all together for those who like it

That guy said his zero deck was "sick" which could mean that his setup was awesome, or his setup wasn't feeling well. So the guy said "i hope it gets well soon" insinuating that he meant his setup was not feeling well. He also used personification in the process of the joke which made it even funnier.

joel mason 8.25 - i wear size 10 . Easier to catch board. 8 is not wide enough.
I think pros or ams have a big advantage because they can skate grizzly or mob wo having to pay 4 new shes every weak

Thunder 149s are basically 8.25" and independent 149s are closer to 8.5".

I measured my thunder 149's and they were 8.5"
Siege it all depends on preference. I rode the 149's for a year and i just didn't like them so i took a gamble and ordered the 151's and i actually love them. Now all I ride is 8.75 trucks with 8.8 creature decks.

i think its really lame when people try to joke about that kind of thing, and he even says he does it to support his sponser which support him, during most contests and videos he has them on and in other vids like this he says stuff like 'yea i usually put stickers of my sponsors on my board'
