"Police are investigating the murder of a man who was beaten to death in a rice field with a small porcelain figure. Authorities believe this is the first documented case of a knick knack paddy whack"
The highlight of this game is really those "top stories" Colin comes up with. I have little doubt he saves them up for whenever they play this game, but still funny.
I have watched you having a lot of fun lately with Whose Line. I thought I would sub and share a few things about seeing it in person back then. Tickets were free. I live North of Los Angeles and went many times back when Drew was the host. You would line up to get in and they would pick out the prettiest people put them behind drew. The audience was about 200 people. When you get in and are seated you are expected to sit there for four hours strait. They don't want you moving around while they are filming. It is not a problem since it goes by so fast. They filmed multiple episodes at once. The laughter from the crowd is real. It was not canned like on other shows. Pretty much everything you have guessed about watching it in person was right on. They are all so quick witted and compliment each others comedy so well. That is why I went back with different friends many times. The blond girl (Kathy?) was one of the funniest and raunchiest of the bunch. She made Colin and others blush. My favorites were audience sound effects, props and Scenes from a hat.
My favorite Colin Mocherie "Top Story" bit is "Retired hitman Jimmy 'Two-Shoes' McClarty admitted he was once hired to beat a cow to death in a rice field with two small porcelain figures. The police have confirmed this to be the first ever case of a 'Knick-Knack Patty-Whack.'"
Great reaction again, Britt!! My daughter and I watched this show faithfully and absolutely loved it! When it first came on, she was 8 years old and during the last season, she was 17!! We did have a system though, when we would laugh so hard that whoever thought they were gonna pee their pants first had to grab the remote and throw it to the other one before running to the bathroom while the other one paused the tv and ran to the other bathroom!!! 😂😂. Did that make any sense at all???😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That music you heard at the end comes from a bit they do called "Hoedown". Look up some of those they are freaking hilarious. There's a companion bit called "Irish Drinking songs" that is even better rofl.
not really she was never a great player. Many other women on the show were much better. She was ok, but basically the token female to put on. Other ladies have been 1000% better than Cathy. I think the only skit i remember being impressed with her doing was playing like a old grandma who was attracted to Colin on newscasters or something. I found her amazing in that one and laughed so much. But usually? no.
@@eolsunder You're thinking of a different woman, lol. Karen played a frisky old granny on Newscasters. She was better than Kathy, but only had like 2 episodes. It seems that TV back in those days favored women who were more reserved, even though a job like this doesn't call for it.
Colin one liners is awesome! You'd definitely love it! It's the one that's 12mins long (I think there's a couple others out there but that one is best.)
When it comes to the set of 4, Ryan, Colin and Wayne are always guaranteed entertainment, and then the top tier of extras joining has always been for me (in no order) Greg, Chip, Brad, Kathy and Jeff. Those were always excellent groupings.
Not complaining but I thought it was especially funny having the picture of Dolly come up behind the weather report just like the green screen weather maps do. I know you didn’t plan it that way but it played out perfectly.
Love Ya Channel Brit, ya always pick the best...and im laughing hysterically with Ya Gearl!!! Pick Em Up Truck Kid 1970's Keep em coming Ya brighten my day with post, and reactions 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤
The greatest newscaster line he had was either "only Hugh can prevent florist fryers" or "first ever case of knick knack paddy wack". Both are insane cannot pick which one is the greatest.
there's a whoooole video of Colin's one liners from this game....one of my favorites is about the florist friars, lol! But you have to watch the Weird Newscasters one where Ryan CHASES Colin! It's so good!!
On another note, just saw your reaction to Talking Heads...Burning Down the House.... Love to see/hear you react to their "Life During Wartime" (live) when you get a chance...Thanks in advance!!..
I saw an interview with Colin where he was asked about being one of the greatest improv comedians. He said as far as he was concerned, he and the Whose Line cast were just more well known, not really better. I wonder who all he would look to as better than them (he probably mentioned but I don't remember)?
By the time the episode with that skit first aired, I was fully convinced the cast of Whose Line had been collected from insane asylums. And it was delightful.
Colin has plenty of free time to come up with those newscaster names and stories. He's always the newscaster in these games. It doesn't mean he's not a genius at improv at other points though.
"Colin One Liners" is a compilation of these opening "Newscaster lines" by Colin. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Best one is Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer's death.
I agree!
@@TheFrugalVideoGamer "The reindeer over Spain was killed mainly by the plane" if I remember correctly. 🤣
By George, I think you got it
Unfortunately, that video leaves out the best one.
Loving how you're going full fledged into the "Whose Line" rabbit hole! Keep it up, Britt!
Party Quirks with Kathy Greenwood is one of the funniest things I've ever seen on Whose Line
She only did one?
Colin: “This just in… Beverly Hills 90210, Cleveland Browns, 3.” 😂
"Police are investigating the murder of a man who was beaten to death in a rice field with a small porcelain figure. Authorities believe this is the first documented case of a knick knack paddy whack"

There's a whole collection of just Collin's openings.

Collin and Ryan are definitely goated
Colins News stories are unique every time they do this game, it's probably my favourite.
the puns are amazing!
As a weird newscaster myself, these sketches are hilarious 😂
Next: News according to Colin. There are 2 of them.
There's only one now. The original one is no longer on TH-cam. It irks me so much.
I think she should just watch individual Weird Newscasters games.
Great reaction again, Britt!! My daughter and I watched this show faithfully and absolutely loved it! When it first came on, she was 8 years old and during the last season, she was 17!! The tune that ended the video is their Ho-down skit theme song. You should definitely check out their Ho-down compilation(s)
Whose Line Is It Anyway is amazing!
Colin is a mastermind. There is a best of with Colin doing a lot of his newscaster names. Awesome.
Glad I'm not the only one who laugh-cries watching these clips!

Colin's best name he came up with on Weird Newscasters was, "Puffy Don't Need Combs."

@@Zaiqahal Karen was in the UK version a few times as well.
Drew Carey had his own sitcom with Ryan and Diedreich Bader. Ran for 8 or 9 seasons. You should check it out. One joke after another.
Just seen the whose live anyway tour this past Saturday. Highly recommend is they come to your area!

You would totally love The News According to Colin. It's about 15 minutes of his pun names and funny news stories he comes up with
These guys are just freaking fantastic! It amazes me how clever they are!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Not complaining but I thought it was especially funny having the picture of Dolly come up behind the weather report just like the green screen weather maps do. I know you didn’t plan it that way but it played out perfectly.
“Where is he now?”
Still participating in this show that’s still on the air.
:-)
Kathy is great. Check out Kathy and the ET dance with Ryan Stiles.
Colin, Ryan and Wayne - hilarious on this show!

I remember this one, so hilarious.
Best of hoedowns would probably be a good one. Another good one, is Who's Line Is It Anyway - Bartender. That one showcases Chip.
Wierd newscasters is my favorite game aside from scenes from a hat
the names and the jokes are sooo goood. the best show
The greatest newscaster line he had was either "only Hugh can prevent florist fryers" or "first ever case of knick knack paddy wack". Both are insane cannot pick which one is the greatest.
everyone is talented, but Ryan and Colin are a step above with the humor. They both are so quick and seem to play off one another so well.
i love that you always get colin and ryan confused for one another 😂😂
Ryan and Colin were an awesome comic duo
Really great video today thanks 👍👍👍
the hoedown they usually do at the end of the shows are hilarious as well.
there's a whoooole video of Colin's one liners from this game....one of my favorites is about the florist friars, lol!
But you have to watch the Weird Newscasters one where Ryan CHASES Colin! It's so good!!
Mrs. Wiggins skit on the Carol Burnett show is hilarious by Carroll and Tim Conway. Please react

try to react to The News According to Colin, its like a compilation of Colin and his hilarious names he gives himself. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ryan is still doing improv. Some of the original crew still do tours but no Colin. Check out Whos Live Anyways for shows near you.
still patiently waiting for “too hot party quirks” 😁
One of the funniest bits ever on Whose Line
And her name is kathy Greenwood. And I am in awe of your wedding ring
There’s a compilation of his intros this game you should watch.
Colin and Ryan are masters
By the time the episode with that skit first aired, I was fully convinced the cast of Whose Line had been collected from insane asylums. And it was delightful.
Insanity and genius. So hard to tell the difference sometimes.
I always fall asleep to Whose Line on Max. Just having this show alone is worth paying for Max. Always manages to keep my spirits up.
I have been saying it for a few episodes now, news according to Colin is the best.
Cathy Greenwood was one of the best guest stars they would have. It's this kind of improv that I love the most.
Don't worry just remember "Kathy". Most of the women who come on this show are named Kathy for some reason.
I’m your anchor Ken Youdiggit.
😂😂😂😂
You should should check out other green screens with colin. You would laugh tears. Also view greatest hits with wayne brady.
Would like to see you react to “old movie stars dance to uptown funk”.
You could react to Whose Line's entire series, including the british version, and it would all be funny.
Yeah, more Whose line.
I needed this 😂😂😂
That red shirt is so familiar. But I honestly do not remember this and it is hilarious.
Anybody notice that Ryan drew a dong n ballz on Dolly's forehead? 😮
In fairness, Colin has conceded that his newscaster name and opening pun are pre-written. Everything else is on the spot.
I would like to request that you react to Harry Baker - Paper People
Love what you do keep it up :)
LOVE this reaction but could yo put up a black or white sheet so I can see the vid thru your Dolly Tee shirt. Hilarious
Colin &:Ryan are the best If my memory is correct, 3 hours of improv is narrowed down to the best 30 minutes.
Colin has plenty of free time to come up with those newscaster names and stories. He's always the newscaster in these games. It doesn't mean he's not a genius at improv at other points though.
Colin (Bald white guy) always has a news story with punchline ready to go!
Lobe you beautiful and your channel great reaction as always
Couldn't see a damn thing but loved the audio.
You gotta react to two and a half men. One of the episodes after 2004 where Ryans character is married to Alans ex wife.
Ya gotta do helping hands!
Please do “We think we know you”, it’s bo burnhams best song I promise
At least they didn’t have Amanda Hugginkiss
Please do more weird news casters or at least the compilation of Colin doing the intros
They have a video where it's 13 minutes of Colin's insane Weird Newscasters openings: th-cam.com/video/u8AILJeugrs/w-d-xo.html
you have to do Taylor Swifts Fortnight.
😂😂😂
😂
ma'am, low low volume. i have yt and my speakers up to 100 and can barely hear you
Things were so much funnier before the loud, obnoxious few made everything woke.
