I worked at a mold shop 6-7 years ago, and we would cut up to 3.0 thick 7075 plate on a craftsman table saw & a radial arm saw. Worked out okay. Had to reverse the blade direction on the radial arm saw so it wouldn't cut towards you. It was sketchy.

resin wheels almost as hard but far more abrasive material (volume) and way cheaper than diamond.
    1. first I'd try a 12in. $50 chop saw (resin wheel)
    2. then I'd use $10 angle grinder with resin wheel
    3. I'd splurge on an evolution carbide bladed chop saw.

Carbide is a lot harder than Titanium. so this should work. Diamond is used to cut Carbide. Blade quality would be important, and you are just using a basic ceramic tile blade. 7:27 your blade height raised up, was the height adjustment super tight?

A tile saw blade will not cut you unless you get your hand (finger) wedged in the blade or push at the blade very hard!
