{JoF} Creo hey bro how do you block attacks? Do you look down and face the attack or do you stand still and wait for the attack to connect while you look at it?
@@SelfHatingAnimal when idle blocking red, I look at the enemy saber and sometimes sit down, against yellow I just run around. During endswing blocks with D-swings I look to the left. During startswing blocks/parries I either look at a 90 or 180 degrees angle (when I face the opponent, it's a 0 degrees angle, when I look to the right, it's 90).
My understanding is you face into the enemy attack to block. The margin of error seems to be larger with heavier stances. But natural saber positioning affects defense also. Honestly you need to tool around with it. There's a bit of in-depth info online but it takes a fair amount of digging.

I wish the sabre combat on console was as good. More difficult to be precise on console. And there's no mods
How does blocking work? Are you supposed to face the direction of the cut with red style or yellow style?
