AB3 in 30-06 got me my first Elk this past November. 165 yards on the rangefinder shooting federal vital shok 180 grain trophy copper. Double lung shot right on target.
Personally I love a workhorse rifle. Frills don't put meat on the table, hunting does. And the AB3 will fire that bullet with the same accuracy and distance that a $1500 gun will. I have zero interest in pampering my rifle when I've got to go through brush country! It's a tool to get a job done and this one does exactly that and it does it with exceptional accuracy! You want a wall piece to show off,, then by all means spend your money. You want to hunt, buy this rifle.
I think that’s a personal choice what you do with your weapon and how much you spend. Your comment sounds very biased and opinionated. I have both cheap rifles that put meat on the table and very high end setups that cost well over $1000 that put meat on the table. Hands down if I have the choice I’m taking my higher end rifle over my lower end especially if I paid for a hunt or something along those lines. Your paying more money for a reason not just a name.
Top rifle. I have no complaints about it, except for the quality of the walnut wood in the hunting version. Very soft wood prone to scratches. Accuracy and safety top +. My longest hit is currently at 140m..droped on place. The barrel does not scatter even after about 10 shots in a short row. 5 bullets in magazine and top bolt handle. I recommend this beauty with all my heart!!!
@@jayriver6280 I really like it, took it out to 400 yards with little issues. My only complaint is on my turrets they sometimes click past a line. That will probably very from scope to scope but otherwise very happy with that combination.
I know I'm late to the party on this, but thank you for this review. I recently had to sell my Browning A Bolt 2 composite stalker in 7mm Rem Mag and I'm looking to replace it with one of these. This makes me feel better about putting down some cash on one.
This is a great gun. I just got one in 30-06. It's very light weight and I have already shot tighter groups with it than any other rifle that I own. I'm not a great shot by any means, but I can cut the same bullet hole at 100 yds with a good rest. I'm very impressed with it.
i have one 4 years now in 300wm very good gun i add a witmachine clamp on brake one it very good!! because in the biginning i had a scope bite in forehead lolol
They should have kept the A Bolt 11. I own five of them in the Stainless Stalker and one of them is the Medallion. All accurate and personally with better design features. This AB3 (along with the X Bolt) was only made to answer a problem that didn't exist. A prefit limbsaver recoil pad solves any recoil issue.
I see you used Double Tapp ammo. Had them make me 200 rounds of 325wsm. They did a great job ! Got a Browning Abolt Titanium- has a Bell and Carson stock. Plastic sleeve on the bolt- it's ok. I don't like that Browning is using lower grade materials these days like every one else. The trigger guard and stock look cheap on that rifle(Is that trigger guard plastic? yuk/puke). And you made the barrel sound special when in fact it looks like a lower grade metal and finish. When FN?Browning went by the wayside so did the rifle grade. Yup I'd say they are part of the race to the bottom. Very sad so many people try to put lipstick on pigs with their enthusiastic marketing tone. Of course you covered yourself by saying at the end of your Browning promotion "ENTRY LEVEL" LMAO.
I would imagine that it's because we did a thorough review and answered the questions that most people have when considering this rifle. Don't leave a lot up to chance, plus we are hunters and shooters and test a lot of rifles, pistols, and shotguns.
I just picked mine up this week in the 30-06 calibre. What a rifle . Cheers
I just saw you on another video
I own this rifle chambered in .308- it is fantastic. I have gotten three deer each year for the past three years with it. Highly recommend.
What type of optic do you have on it? Thanks
@@Liquidforce4441 Vortex Crossfire 12x50mm. You can see ants on a tree at 100 yards.
Is your ammo a . 308 Winchester?
@@samuelperez.44 Yes. Fantastic hunting round.
How is the trigger? How is the pull and weight? I’m seriously considering this rifle.

I got this in 30-06 Hunter took a 7 Point Mule Deer in Idaho at 270 yards. Love it. Cheap, light, and deadly accurate.

Think of those wood scratches as gun personality and experience
Just got this in 243 winchester. I'm excited to take it out and sight it in. Decided to go with the Vortex Diamondback 4-16x 44.
Hows the scope on it I have this riffle in 6.5 cm and was thinking of getting the same one

03:24 - Good lord, jerk the trigger much?!!!
Right!?
That trigger slap is like shooting trap with an over under shotgun.
Seems to be a good rifle at amazing cost!
