BREAKING NEWS from US officials on 2/27/23: The blistering 44.49sec 400m indoor world record time set by Canadian teenager Christopher Morales Williams last weekend will not be ratified as a world record due to an issue with the starting blocks. (I think CMW will run even faster under ratifiable world record conditions within the next year or two)
