I believe they actually tried to do exactly that after their movie adaptation attempt went down under but apparently It was quietly cancelled because the project just didn't really go anywhere.
I like back in the day they would show us love in more fun way so as a kid you would learn this stuff. You gotta learn it one way or another why not learn it in a fun video game so it makes total sense to me why this is E rated.

Although enjoyable, this should have been the first sign that sly 4 wasn't going to be as successful as the other 3. Reason being they displayed that they don't truly understand sly. Here he is just some quip machine, he would never leave Carmelita like that, and sly would never leave empty handed. He would kiss Carmelita though
