I have had my 360 Coupe for over 5+Years ,I love it!!! I have been thinking about getting a Spider F1 since I have an X Pipe on the Coupe and would like to have a Capristo Stage 3 or Tubi Sound as well.
Not sure "bargain" is quite the right word.. 360s and 430s will regularly cost the owner £3-5,000 in annual repairs. They are obviously older cars now and literally anything can break at any time, leaving you stranded out of nowhere. I've had 4 360/430 in my time. They are thrilling when they are right, but they can be a nightmare to *get* right. During my ownership, the amount of so-called "specialists" that were either clueless or actually ended up making the cars even harder to live with I found completely shocking. I ended up trusting a single garage that was over 200 miles from where I am based. I definitely got value from my breakdown premiums, if nothing else. Get *any* older Ferrari inspected. It'll probably be worse than you imagine. A worn clutch (c 70% worn in F1) will set you back £4,000. £5,000 if a flywheel is needed. Almost guaranteed other stuff will need doing at the same time = £££ I've seen 430s described by various people as being "outstanding" that needed over £10,000 to deal with various leaks and suspension issues (and that's without a clutch needing doing). I've had a car that kept cutting out suddenly with no warning that even Ferrari Maranello couldn't figure out (they said bad ECUs at £5k each, and it turned out to be a switch that costs £20.. I had to Internet search that one myself.. Everyone else was clueless). Watch what you're buying with these cars. Have money ready after the money. Good luck.
The 360 Spider in Grigio alloy is burnt in my brain. I couldn’t afford one at the time - & specd a new Morgan Aero 8 in that colour. Big mistake! Great video! What’s the £££’s?
