you and that 360 will always be remembered. in fact when you first got it, my dad landed his first purchase on his first ever super car, a 991.1 Carrera s. My self and my dad have been tuning into your podcasts and videos each week and you have really guided us into what cars to buy and when and we are eternally grateful for that. directed by you and Tony, my dad went on to buy an AMG GTR and he loves it but i will always remember that Carrera as being the first time that my self and my dad could have fun in our own supercar and i do remember seeing him cry (first time for as long as i can remember) when he let that car go. loosing the first of anything is difficult but it is always remembered with a smile. i cant wait for you to get that dream car, the challenge stradale, and finally, i want to say a big thankyou from myself, my dad and all the STG fans watching you from that beginning moment. we will always remember that 360.
Thank you so much for not going the typical youtuber route and testdrive a thousand cars before revealing a car. You always wanted a CS and thats the only car you should focus on. This straight forward approach is so much more entertaining to watch.

Hi Sam, you filmed my CS 5years ago at Denbies Vineyard. Car has sadly left the collection now replaced by a GT2RS. Great noise but beware the bills can be eye watering and mind the dreaded dashboard red X.
As always, simply brilliant.

I think a higher milage F12 would be perfect for you sam. Less depreciation and one of the best sounding V12s ever made.
Sad to see the 360 go but, I'm glad you didn't start modifying it - as that worried me. It was great for what it was and is. Now onto the CS! Good luck, sir!

Congratulations on achieving your goal of the Strad. Hearing your story, I am happy for you. As a non Ferrari guy I can't fully get it. It seems like a lot of money for a model change of the same car. I know, I know... people explain it is like two different cars. It will be lighter, sound better, not be a gated manual and have a little more kick that the Modena apparently lacks. But it is a 360 with an F1 that finally works. It certainly will be better from an investment standpoint.
I'll certainly enjoy your journey, and again congratulations.

I would've liked you to get a 612 in a nice colour and possibly a manual like your great 360. I wonder if the 360cs is enough of a step forward to justify the money it's going to cost.

You have done well! We all remember the enthusiasm on that first video. You have done exactly as promised and actually used the Ferrari 360 Berlinetta to the full. We look forward to the next chapter! I must admit, sometimes on the drive home, I stop off so I can drool at the cars at Joe Macari!
Buying a ferrari for 12 to 18mths is a very expensive depreciation experience. Loved your 360 as you used it properly but it did show how fragile and expensive to maintain they are.
Been watching since the early 4C days, this has been an incredible journey. Can't wait to see more of it

Well you at least enjoyed your dream car. When I finally could buy my old time favorite dream car from my young days, I found out I was a bit to big to drive with it comfortably. The gear stick was in my leg basically. So I have sold her after 3 short days again. Bit of disappoint that was.
But a new car for the warranty. Saw a girl yesterday about the. As she got ‘Cost of Living’ £30 change.
Gutted you sold it. I’ve got a 300zx tt swb that i’ve had for years. I can’t sell it despite many offers i’ve had. I’m way too attached to it.
If there is an opportunity to buy 360CS, i think just sell that GT3 and go for it! especially if thats your biggest dream car of all time!

It’s the right call. Buying any other Ferrari for a year inbetween and you’d be down £20-30k in depreciation and running costs.

as an early subscriber, we've all been a part of the journey. it's been utterly brilliant. But, what happens now is even more exciting Sam. You've come a long, long way, unlike the ones you mentioned in the video. The quality, the surprise and the way you present content is what keeps us all glued to this channel. We've all been with you, hell, some of us prayed for you to get that CS, who knows. But we're all supporting you in anyway we can. You deserve it more than anyone. Waiting for the CS, staying subscribed, and ofcourse, a thumbs-up.

IMO, a 599 would be a great car to purchase to own for a year or two. You can't go wrong with that V12 and those great body lines. On top of that, the prices are reasonable and I think the values will hold strong. However, if you can swing the money to get "the right" Challenge Stradale, that would be amazing!
So happy to hear you finally say you’re getting a challenge stradale! Been watching you since the 4C days, through all the eurotrips with the boys, all the car reviews, and always heard you going on and on about the 360 CS the same way I do the 430 Scud and 16M. This feels like the end of an arc and the beginning of a new one.
FF would be a good choice. 4 seater family car and a v12. Win win.

Love the 612 interior but the exterior just doesn't do it for me. A 456M would be pretty awesome imo, v12, last popup headlights, still carries the 90s aesthetic and a 4 seater.
A classy fairwell video to your 360 Sam. Very important car in the STG journey. Applaud your aspirations for the CS, with that being said, the 'stop-gap' car, sure like that idea.

One tip Sam, if before you buy a 612, try and pronounce Scaglietti correctly😉. Just pretend the g isn't in the name, then you'll have it nailed.

Happy for you Sam. I too, often said “I’ll never sell this car”, but eventually you move on to new memories and new experiences but will often reminisce gleefully about the one you moved on from.

I am owning a 2004 360 F1 for the last 13 years and she is a keeper for me.
I’ll probably sell my 360 when I physically can’t drive her anymore!

I genuinely love that you, sam, have kept that 360 for as long as you did and had some many epic memories and trips with it. You didnt do the typical youtuber thing and buy it then sell it after 6 months. It was a car that you loved and cherished. I think I can say for all of us here watching this video and that have followed the journey with that car that, yes, it will be missed, but... bigger and better things are to come for you and this channel. I am so happy that you have stuck to your guns and have decided to hold out for your dream car! No one deserved this more than you. It will be a momentous day and video for us all when you reveal that Challenge Stradale! I cannot wait to see the car and all the memoires that you will make with it. Out of that entire Joe Macari show room........the Delorean Time Machine in the back 😍. Lol otherwise the 550/575 has always been one of my favorites going back to when it was a cover car for Need for Speed High Stakes.
I'm thinking more on the lines of a 575M Fiorano or 599 If you fancy a practical Ferrari GT car....Then there's always a 458 or 430 Scuderia.. Good choice in the end. You jammy git Sam...👍👍👍 I take it the GT3 is also on the way so you can purchase the Dream....

Most automotive TH-camrs only keep their cars for six to twelve months. I mean, how long did you have that 540C? So six years, plus all the road trips abroad, the amount of mileage you done, is actually quite impressive.
The Challenge Stradale is one of my all time favourite cars, but I have to be honest here, I don't think they are worth 200k. Mind you, not many cars have as much character and soul as those things do. A V12 Ferrari would seem like the next logical step forward I feel.
360 was destined for the chopping block 2yrs ago! It was never gonna be a CS

The 360 CS is the car for Sam no doubt but I am a bit surprised that there was no mention of the 599. It's always been one of my favorites and is in the same era as the 612.

I remember the videos from when you picked up the 360 and specifically remember your saying it would be let go only for a CS. No shame in letting the 360 go for bigger things. Happy to follow you on the journey!

Selling a beloved car will stir up mixed feelings, but there is always a point at which you just know that it is time to let go. The trick then is, to find another car (or anything else) which will match or exceed the experience. This boils down to what you value at that time, the most. The FF probably hinted at that. But then, it is best to buy something (whatever it is) when feeling present, not when feeling lost, excited, or desperate. Pause, take stock, and then seek something which will be satisfying to own....easier said than done for some.
