- I believe this takes place after Rick has flown off to Florida after he & Lesley have separated. Howard is trying to cheer up Lesley. Joe & Jeff both show up with flowers to take Anne out (awkward). Remind me again why Jeff & Joe were friends because Jeff was not a very good one. Bobbie is trying to have fun at the disco while still grieving for Roy. Laura & Scotty are enjoying a night out with friends at the disco. Jennifer & Luke are together on a date at the disco.

Great disco scenes even for 1980. With PRINCE's I WANNA BE YOUR LOVER playing in the background. I miss that type of production!
I always found it so relaxing just listening to the "idle chitchat" for example Leslie and Howard in the beginning, and then Leslie, Howard and Mrs. Grant, so normal sounding and pleasant, I found it comforting.
Yes I do love all the love and friendship there were back then... I miss this love in so much. ..Well remember they don't make them like they used to...!!JMVHO! Peace out Rosie!
Thanks for posting these, it's hard to believe these are 40 years old now. Seems like I just saw it yesterday.
What a wonderful show this was. The community was very "lived in" and real, so that the viewer could automatically be welcomed into an established and well-thought-out social structure. And that exchange between Luke and Bobbi was brilliant writing.

If Bobbie wasn't such a witch she really did suit Scott better than Laura. They're a better looking couple. Laura and Scott never looked quite right. Too generic, no sparks!

Loving these full episodes of vintage GH! I've watched a lot of the L&L story through Sussezq's channel, but I don't care--I'll watch again! So much better than the garbage GH is today.

Absolutely!! She just wouldn’t go there with him because she did not want to hurt him because she knew she still loves Rick! Howard definitely would’ve taken care of her!

I agree with this statement. All the greats either left or killed off. GH pulled away from the hospital as a base and more to mob life ie Sonny/Carly/Jason. The writing need to go back to the old days. My fav time is 79-90’s minus the year they did the alien 👽 storyline.

I can almost bet they had a hard time getting through the scene with Jeremy and his comment about Jeff and Joe on the couch with Anne. LOL!!!

That’s sad! I just looked up his IMDB and see he didn’t act past the 80’s! I wonder what he did for a living after acting? I always liked Howard besides Dorey they didn’t give him a love interest!
O my I’ am so sorry I always thought Howard would have made a great couple. The good part would Lesley is a wonderful Doctor and Mother too. She is loving and tender, truthful and also Howard has two boys. Those boys would have to wonderful roll models. One and Lawyer and the other a Doctor...WOW THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN REAL NICE. Laura and Amy two big sisters to boot. Well one can only dream right? JMVHO. Love. Rosie!He was a good actor and a great man RIP. Howard.

Jennifer so pushy...lol....she made have been a bad actress, but that is what made her "good" and a great character for the show. Her word stumbling just flowed....may sound crazy, but Miss Smith was fantastic. LM did her job....I wonder where she is now.
I liked her too even though I was a Laura fan. I wanted to see her spare more with Laura over Luke but that got cut short.
@ S Davis I hated that Jennifer left, I also wish that Luke gave Jennifer more of a chance. It would of gave the Luke & Laura romance more intense.

She wasn't just a bad actress, she was _dreadful._ Either she didn't bother to learn her lines or she had the memory of a goldfish, but in either case, the results were cringe-worthy. I got second-hand embarrassment just watching her.

Thanks for sharing!! I had heard her in an online interview saying she'd be back mid July and what better way to return then to go see her long standing nemesis, part time friend :) I am actually going to Palm Springs for The Inn Web Series wrap party and she will be there. Can't wait for that!

Your right, for a while I thought we had the old GH back but now too many stories I just cannot buy. I am holding out some hope but it is fading fast. You would think Luke & Laura would be showing more affection toward each other but they seem distant. I felt more chemistry when they first came back before Lulu's kidnapping now the story is just too rushed. It is pretty bad when the best part of yesterday's episode was AJ's reaction to Michael sleeping with Brenda (which is gross btw).

Jeff is a jerk taking out his 'friend' Joe's girlfriend. He knows Joe cares about Anne. I know Anne likes Jeff more than she likes Joe, but still...Jeff is a crap friend.
