When I first tried nitro the Internet barely existed so figuring it it out was a slow frustrating process unless you knew someone. I gave it up for a long time but came back to it recently. It’s more of a rewarding challenge now that all the info is so readily available and it’s been fun to see it have a resurgence with some people I follow on TH-cam
The vehicle first came out as the Carson - King of Dirt. I bought one brand new in 2003, still have it. Basically was a clone of a Kyosho MP7.5 or so. So the vehicle itself is very old.
I didn’t watch the video. Long time ago, my first born was interested in RC’s. I bought an electric small scale truck and we had a blast. Then I thought we needed an upgrade and I bought a nitro truck. What a PITA that thing was. Way to fast to drive in neighborhood where we lived. Too loud for a little kid. Pain to start. Haha. I sold it and he lost interest. Now. 13 years later. Another kid that’s into Rc. All electric all day!!!
Good job, sounds good. I have HPI's truggy version, its a blast too. Tip - Keep your glow igniter clean with Q-tips, makes sure your getting the most heat to the plug.
Nitro is a whole different world to Electric. To really appreciate the nitro racing take a look at some youtubes of something like ths DNC....or RCGP. those guys n gals make those cars fly literally. Nice series on the HPI .....lets hope you continue with it !

So i just recently picked up a nitro vorza truggy are those better then traxxas nitro

I can see the timing for throttle input is way different over the jumps, and more critical for clean laps. Cool run👍
