How incredible the opening chorus. Of course D major with trumpet and timpani. Then he does the cleverest thing with the sopranos singing the chorale straight while the other 3 voices do a quasi fugue thing each time something different and the strings and brass continue what they were doing as if they are not paying any attention to the chorus. At he rattled these off once a week while writing organ works, WTC, violin and cello suites, etc. What an incredible creator of sound he is.
@@Cmaj7 Do you have any more Bach cantatas planned? As I have already completed score videos of some 20-30 cantatas already, and once I saw this upload I uploaded BWV 129 myself (on TheOneAndOnlyZeno channel as you might remember), which I had completed a while ago now.
@@TheOneAndOnlyZelenkaGuru Ah yeah, I don't plan on any more. One of the reasons it's been over 2 years since I posted Bach is because a lot of score videos exist already. Didn't mean to step on your toes. Anyway people don't seem to care for him based on the views lol
@@Cmaj7 Sorry if I came across like I own the rights to being the only one creating Bach cantatas, unfortunately my most viewed Bach cantata's (10k+ views) got blocked for no reason, so that puts a dent on the view count, at least for my channel that has been my experience

No, not really, has just been a hot minute since I posted any Bach. I've posted a common-practice piece a bit less than once a month for a while now.
