It's kinda sad because this show seems to be exactly what so many so called 'fans' who are preoccupied with nonsense culture war narratives have been asking for, yet they can't see it. So far so good! Can't wait for the next episodes ❤
The most hilarious thing is when people argue the science of lightsabers. StarWars is Sci fantasy not hard Sci Fi. George didn't think about the science. He created something cool and fantastical.
So sick of the hate conversations online. I’m not taking part, I’ll just be enjoying the show, which I am. First two episodes were exactly what I wanted. More Star Wars content, new characters, High Republic Era, a compelling story, and I got all of that in these episodes.
Once the right wing Star Wars fans come out of their culture war fog and find something else to be mad about, they’re going to watch this show and realize it’s the best thing Star Wars has done in a while
I, personally, think that the dark side user is either a random force wielder who found sith holocron (maybe from Bane), a sith apprentice who was trained before Plagueis, or (unlikely imo) a sith lord/master in the rule of two line
In the High republic Yoda was a master, he wasn't a grandmaster yet, he became one a few decades before episode I. I loved the first 2 episodes, those who are hating are finding little nitpicks and are lying to rate it low for no reason.
@@QuinlanVoss. Hating it is not the problem the thing is the nit picks I've seen and the blatant lying on the reviews like literally 10 minutes after it released people were saying there's no aliens in the show and Master Indara died in a way she didn't etc.
Best star wars movie: Rouge One. Best star wars tv-show: Ahsoka. Best animated show: Rebels. First attempt to finally get away from the original trilogy - Acolyte. All done under Disney. Try again.

I like the Jedi behaving more like fighting monks and not super heroes. I skip all the hate videos it feels fake to me.
The practical reason for the thicker hilts is that the blades actually extend and are powered to give off real lighting now.
They actually wanted to go more horror but the powers that be squashed that.
