In this tutorial, let us learn about How To Crash Primavera Schedule In Just 5 Minutes
As a Planner, you might have faced this situation to crash the project schedule in Primavera to bring the project finish date back.
Actually, this is a very lengthy process which involves a lot of re-planning.
But, if you are left with very limited time, there is a smart trick some sort of shortcut for doing this.
Let us consider this sample project which is having the finished data as " "
and let us crash the schedule to move the finish date early.
Step 1:
I define a Global Change, go to tools, click on global change.
Give this global change a name, say it as schedule crashing.
Select the subject area as Activities and set the condition as where Critical equals yes, then remaining duration = remaining duration - 8h.
so what it does is, it reduces the duration of all the critical activities by 1 day.
Click Ok.
Step 2:
Run Global Change. Once it is executed, Press F9 and Schedule the project plan.
As we have reduced the duration of critical activities, project duration will also reduce accordingly. So, you can see the new Project Finish date as
Step 3:
Remember friends, by this global change, critical activities might have changed and a new critical path will be derived.
Step 4: If you want to still compress the schedule, run the global change for one more time, by which you will reduce the duration of the newly formed critical activities.
Step 5:
Repeat this process until you reach closer to your desired project finish date.
But friends before performing this trick, take all the necessary step of taking the backup and checking the log files if in case of any errors, as this is just a trick and not the recommended standard way of crashing the schedule.

I just sow this video it is good
I need other way round
My project duration was 483 days
Today 417 days over with 660 activity finish out of 1388
91 activity in process
637 activity not started
Schedule slip
Additional 417 days required to finished all balance activity
In resources i am changing per day units by 150% so that finished date prepone but nothing happened.
Please let me know by this trick how my problem solve
