Your welcome! Try wiggling the dipstick side to side as you pull it. They are a very tight fit.
After much determination lol I finally managed to get it off. Thank you and I Luvs my tough little KUBOTA

Thanks. The powersterring fluid is part of the hydrulic oil that is checkec at the rear of the tractor.
I have a question I’ve got a BX 2360 I’ve got oil or fluid or some type hydraulic coming out of my front end and I don’t know from where I have cleaned it all with brake clean and I don’t see anything leaking nowhere but I’ve got oil on the ground, a Parkette on horse maps and I just do not see where it’s coming from. Do you have any suggestions?

I couldn't see any coolant on my 2370, so I added some. Now it's near the top of the upper reservoir which is probably too much. What will happen if it exceeds the tank capacity when the engine is hot?

A quart low is a lot. What model BX do you have?

Hey -- bought a CountyLine Post Hole Digger for my B3200 and it's routinely getting stuck and the hydraulics can't lift it back outta the hole when it reaches a certain point even at full up on the hydraulics the digger keeps digging deeper when the PTO is on or it's just stuck with PTO off. Any advice or is it simply just a situation where bad clay + PHD don't mix well?
I don't have a PHD. When you drill a hole with it, you don't need to be at 540 PTO RPM. You can go slow. Also as you drill the hole when you drill down a few inches raise the PHD out of the hole to clean it out them drill down and repeat. The clay is probably adding to the difficulty.
correct that it's the only grease point on the tractor but backhoe and FEL needs greasing too
I have videos of lubricating the loader and back hoe but I have not uploaded them yet. I was doing it in parts.
Is it best to check at operating temp or cold. 28 f and 2 hrs on bx 1880, hydraulic fluid is not on dip stick. Was told air might be displaced from the system and have to add UDT. THANKS
If you are checking when it is cold the fluid will be down lower on the joystick, but it should be in the crosshatch area. When the tractor is warm it will be at the top or close to the top. The only time there would be air in the system is after a filter and fluid change.

I'm still rather new to diesel engines. When I checked the engine oil after only a few hours of use, it was black already. I'm used to seeing clean oil and only black after many hours of use (on my gasoline engines). My friend says that black oil in a diesel engine is normal even after just a few hours of use. Do you agree?
That is normal. Generally speaking diesel oil will get black within a few minutes or hours.
I have a bx 1500 ,awesome machine; but the front tires are wearing on the outside edges.
Check your tire pressure if it is too low it will wear the edges. Then check the front end alignment.
I have the backhoe and loader attachment how do i properly check the Fluid to make I have enough hydraulic fluid?
+Travis Lee The procedure is the same as what I showed in the video. I would check it with the pins in the back hoe and loader down.
On the front axle dip stick, where is full there is a line and two dots. Can’t find it anywhere in the manual and like you said hard to see but where is full?
The bottom portion of the dipstick larger in diameter. At the top of the larger diameter portion is full. If you can't see it, drag a finger nail across it.

Is same whats used for loader and also for transmission or is transmission separat ?
The rear hydraulic reservoir covers everything hydraulic on the tractor, trans, loader, 3 point hitch and power steering.
My L3400 Kubota tractor has a cloudy, almost white view window where the hydraulic fluid level is checked. What does this mean?
It sounds like it may have water in it. Hydraulic fluid should be clear.
Are most Kubota tractors like this. I couldn’t find the hydrolic on this older model.
Depending on what model it is, it may have a metal dipstick.
I add an EA Wicked grapple. I guess it was bone dry because when I circulated the fluid through it, the sump was out of reach of the dip stick. After adding a quart, it is still dry. LOL
I takes a bit to fill the cylinders and hoses. Most people don't check their fluid after adding a grapple.
Been trying to find this for the 2680.
Everything should be the same.
Where do fill the engine oil? Does it go in the dip stick tube?
There is a cap on the top of the engine in the valve cover that remove to put the oil in.
Should you always operate at full throttle?
If you are using the PTO, yes. For other work, I operate between 2700 and full throttle. The heavier the load, the higher the RPM I run. If you listen to the hydro, it sounds different if it needs more RPM.

It is tough working on things in the dark.
Does the hydraulic oil take udt2?
Yes
I have a bx2200 same gear oil do I use
For the front axle? You can use the Kubota super UDT2 or 80w-90 gear oil. I use gear oil.
What type of hydraulic fluid does it take
I use Kubota Super UDT2.
my power steering is leaking where do i add oil or check it
It is part of the hydraulic system. Check it at the rear of the tractor.
What hp and cylinder is it?
23 engine hp
17.7 PTOHP
3 cylinder
Loader and rear snowblower are down.

How about brake fluid?
Woops mechanical break just tightened it up.
Is hydraulic fluid is same as transmission fluid on bx?
Yes, it is.
94BULLITT Well transmission is leaking on my bx2680 with 40 hours on it. Will call dealer on Monday. Starting to feel sorry for not going with john deer
Is the filter tight?
94BULLITT filter is tight. Leak is on very rear, like pto shaft seal or back cover
That sounds like it should be an easy fix. Don't regret buying a BX, they are far ahead of the competition.
You didn't check the Is power steering fluid.
It is part of the hydraulic system that is checked at the rear of the tractor.
