I'm very glad you invested in a Sawstop with the way you use a table saw 😅

Get fucked. I’ve never had anything unexpected happen while using the table saw. Tool control is key to tool safety. Worry about yourself.

@@dpmakestuff I am worrying about myself! I thought: if I used a table saw like that I don't know if I'd still be able to snap.

Dustin, Your design is the best I have seen! Quick, simple, easy to build, and does a great job at doing it's job. Thanks for sharing. One of the best changes I made to my shop was mounting the router in the table saw. This fence will enhance my router set up and make it complete.

Holy cow. I love using TH-cam mostly just in finding craftsman using their skills. Most I find do very nice work and most importantly have passion in what they do. You have these same qualities, but none of them had me laughing like the end of your video did. Thank you for sharing your skills as a craftsman, creator, director, and all your other skills that brought this together

Noticed the stop block flexing every time you butted up against it. So if you make stop blocks as well as you make router fences, I'd say that's a good next video. Well done.

I am watching this very high. I don't know why I felt you was mad at me, then I realised it was just a TH-cam video and actually you are pretty grateful I am watching this because you thanked me at the end, you told me I am a badass and I felt great. thank you

Since the fence sides are separate, you could shim the outfield fence 1/32" or so and create an edge jointer.

I made one similar myself (but without the adjustable sides, I just used the same width as the hole in the insert).
I put a lid on the entire width and drilled a couple of holes in the rear plate that sits against the saw's fence for some Bessey TK6 clamps. On the other side of the fence, I put a load spreading board with countersunk holes for the clamps and secured them with a couple of wide slotted washers. That way the entire "contraption" comes off as one complete piece with no need for loose clamps, and no risk of warping the relatively thin aluminium fence.

Very good video. If you're interested in making one, consider using HPL (like formica) coated plywood to make it more durable. Your parts will slide better as well. I only learned afterwards that you can also install a very convenient T-track on top of the fence .....

Kind of a rookie here. Mine came out ever so slightly not straight/square. Probably too much clamping pressure or maybe my braces were slightly off, or both. In any case, two very light passes with the jointer squared the base to the front, and 3 or 4 VERY LIGHT passes with the planer squared and straightened the back. It’s perfect now. Thanks.
