You can safely process long and narrow objects.
Box joint is also possible by adding a simple jig.

Earlier videos were not quite up to scratch but you have clearly identified TH-camr's thirst for neat, high quality and great looking produce. Even if all you make is just more tools, videos are clean and well presented. Well done!
Building a router table now. Been taking all the ideas from a bunch of videos on TH-cam and it's come out better than I thought I could do. Im definitely adding this linear guide. I may do it differently to save on materials. Im thinking of attaching it to one side of my split fence and then putting a t track screw on the other side to slide across the front t-track. Hoping this is enough to keep it at a perfect 90 degree angle during use.
This is pure genius. It makes the front t-track basically useless.

Thanks for clearly and fully demonstrate the purpose of the final product. Many woodworking videos i need to skip to the end first to know if i am interested in the jig or not.

I wish I had your creative mind. This is a must for router enthusiasts. JessEm Mite-r slide is $300. This would not cost this much. The only difference would be the JessEm unit the ability to make angled cuts where this one is only 90 degrees. Great job

I just finished building one of these today using a rod I got out of a paper cutter station. The problem is it has too much wobble for the kind of accuracy I’m going for. I should have looked at your video again before I built mine. Looks like the part that helps stabilize it is those two arms you have attaching to the back of the fence and the piece you have sliding flush along the back of the original fence. I’m going to take mine apart and build that part to see if it takes care of the wobble.

One thing you might consider is to cover the rod and linear guide. The fact that it is greased could caused wood dust to build up on it. This could potentially turn into a real mess.
