    The router jig makes me wonder why I didn't think of that? That's just brilliant. The use of UHMW or HDPE as the extended router base is a great idea. I'm going to set up a router just for that purpose now.

    Excellent moxon vise. Very good video production as well. I especially liked how you applied stencils directly to the work surface -- very clever.

    Love that idea for a router guide. That seems like a good way to take a (cheap) trim router and get nice dados without a huge, adjustable plate that you have to lay over the piece - just a simple, two-piece right angle. Subscribed!

    That's a well mXe Vise pal... It's beautifully made.. I couldn't get what uweredoingT1st but I love the idea of being able to tKe it away off the Ben h when needed....
    I'm about to uildoutmyvery small 1 car garage. 16X12 is my guestimation on the size atm. Once I clear the rubbish It'll be the time for me to begin setting up shop.. There's a tonne of prep to go before any of my new tools go in but I cannot wait and this is a Vise I will defo be making for my 5 foot Bench.. Great video

    You can never have too many clamps! The leather is a nice addition! I use it on my hold fasts.

    This is fine craftsmenship. I like the final scene where tha clamps are pointing upwards(!) instead of downwards away from the work area.

    I just ordered your plans for this vice as I have to make a ton of hand cut dovetail drawers for my daughters dresser. Side note: never made a dovetail until the last three weeks. 🥴I sure do hope you are well and still able to get out in your shop.

    As I saw you chisel the hole for the nut I knew that's a pro. You know in order to have a great end result one has to have sharp tools and a steady hand.
    You got both and the result speaks for itself. Thanks for sharing...now you got me curious on your other videos...

    There are two type of people on the TH-cam woodworking catagory. #1,The instructors like Paul Sellers, Matt Cremona, etc. Then #2, the showboaters like this guy and many others. I thumb up the instructors.

    I wanted to point out that the hex nut pocket at 3:11 was spectacular. you made it look so easy. I hope that was just pure luck and the rest looked awful, otherwise i need to step up my game.... Great job, i want to see more!

      Haha, I love it. I was thinking the same damn thing. Thanks for the laugh, I'm headed down to my shop right the hell now with a board, hex nut, and a sharp chisel and then straight to the drill press. I can see this going 1 of 2 ways. I'll leave the rest up to your imagination, lol

    2 helpful tips, use Nitrile gloves when spreading glue, add ring magnets on to the back of the hand wheels to pull the vise out when releasing the tension. Otherwise GREAT LOOKING VISE 👍👍👍👍
