    You can see the love and pride this guy puts into his work. I wonder how many persons do their own camera work and post production, and the amount of time it takes to produce something like this.

    I'm used to larger, corded routers th-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQ5_mgwq6PcudJvAH25t-I4D-3cTPz4z so this was a different experience for me. Basically, this is an incredibly sweet machine, fits well in the hand, etc. It has slightly less power than I'm used to, but that's understandable. Maneuvering freehand takes some practice. These days, it's especially nice to be able to avoid power cords. This is above the level of a hobbyist but below a pro level.

    You putting a weight on top of the board is one of the most innovatively brilliant things I have ever seen. Well done !!

    Come on guys!!
    This Pro is kind enough to share his work and put a lot of work into doing it.
    Measurements all depend on how big a table and fence you want and nor the less what kind of router you got. They are not standard sizes at all.
    The metal thing I think is a doorstopper meant to make some counter weighing for the blade as you put your wood through the cutter/saw.
    YES I am a total amateur myself.
    Greetings to all from Denmark 😇

    Hi, thanks for sharing and great job for the item and the production of this video.
    I used this as a prompt to build a fence for an old router table (a board with mounting holes) and have just completed it, thanks.
    My work area is a whole lot messier and not worthy of filming lol

    Is there a benefit to using these glued t-tracks over using a t-slot bit? I would imagine that using a t-slot bit in plywood or solid wood is stronger than gluing on the MDF strips right?

    • @AllFlavorWorkshop
      @AllFlavorWorkshop  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Vincent, I would agree. The downside I see I that T-slot bits tend to snap quite often. But a good quality bit should do it! :)

    what is heavy oval object in the videos. another great video.

    • @AllFlavorWorkshop
      @AllFlavorWorkshop  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Glen. That oval object is a door stop (Or sold as door stop). Keeps the door in position so it wont close. But since it has a nice rubber bottom and quite heavy I use is sometimes instead of clamps and here for pushing. ;)

    I am going to attempt something like this so this video is very helpful, however, isn't the vacuum function rendered obsolete when the hole for the router bit is completely covered?

    • @AllFlavorWorkshop
      @AllFlavorWorkshop  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Tony, good point. It still proved to be useful. when the suction is on, it does take away the dust that gets stuck between the fence and the workpiece. 👍

    looks very good. how much height adjustment did you lose by not hollowing out for the router base?

    • @AllFlavorWorkshop

      Hi Tim, I think around ¨1,5cm. Making a hollow for the router base would be definitely helpful. 👍

    Thank you very much for sharing this. One of these days I am planning to make a router table to myself. I am not much experienced on woodwork, just on hobby level and I am wondering why you prefer to glue 2 plywood desks instead of using single plywood desk with desired thickness? Was it available in hand as scrap from another projects? Or has it got certain advantages to do it like that?

    • @Dancopymus
      @Dancopymus 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I thought about that too; he certainly didn't have the thickness of wood he'd like.
