The Snowplow I have is for clearing a Scale Trail Path in the back woods when a heavy Snow fall has occurred. Not for clearing Driveways - (though that is where I test it).
Myself, my friend David Jr, his Grandpa & his Dad came up with a crazy idea for an RC SNOWPLOW. It was Grandpa that came up with the idea for the Rotary Style - and I LOVE iT! We have been working on getting it going for over a year! With some modifications and EXTREME ELECTRONiCS Upgrades we are almost 100% operational. Now I just have to learn how to drive the thing with some skill.
Mounted on the front of my Mega Machine "HD OVERKiLL", a 6x6 (6WS) Electric Truck - the snow blower is powered by a GensAce 5000mah 4s, a Castle 80iCE ESC, and E-Flite 400kv Helicopter Motor. The gear box is made from a hand grinder, and the rest is fabricated.
HD Overkill is NOT running the Smoke Stacks because my smoker cracked. i have a new one on order!

I would angle the sides of the plow further towards the impeller, so that way it will pull the snow in towards it better. Otherwise, this is great.
imagine sitting at the window in your living room sipping coffee while you clear your snow-covered driveway, neighbors dropping their shovels in awe. amazing.

the good thing about this RC snow blower is that it actually works, excellent and very inventive, excellent idea for clearing the snow of the drive way with out getting cold or wet

The scoop on the front looks like in needs to be made more pointed so it funnels the snow into it better. Looks great with the wheels on too.

looks like a snow plow with optional blower! at least you could stay inside while the fun is going on!
Nice video! If you put curved/corner shaped edges on the top of the side blades, it will funnel the snow into the thrower and not build up.

It great to see that blower working better than ever, but now it needs a second stage with a auger out front to push the snow into the fan and then it could really start to move some snow.
been into RC for just over 30 years now, and have been watching a lot of your videos. You have an amazing collection and some really really cool setups. I wish I lived closer to your group so I could join in with your fun. I have been modding a couple crawlers nowmyself and they are pretty insane. Having a machine shop background it has been pretty easy to fab some really cool one of a kind hop ups.
works a lot better. at first, I wasn't to impressed, except for its looks, but then you started going through the deep stuff and it handled it great. that was awesome.

I bet if you modified the fan to include a screw type auger similar to the 3rd stage of the new Cub Cadet snow throwers, it would work pretty good!

You need more angle on them feeder fins Snow Will feed into the blower much more efficiently you won't have the build up
It looks so real ! bad ass ! add fpv on, then you plow snow from your wide screen tv.
the first video linked has the doors that cover the blower when not in use open but they are almost at 90* and the bottom blade is angled to push snow in. CRAZY awesome blower tho. could use lil tweaks but cant wait to see it used in perfect conditions !

bend in the extra flaps on the side of the actual auger inward so the snow is forced into the auger instead of some snow and the rest is just plowed.

I understand tht this rig is an ongoing project and is always getting improved, but i think i have found a solution to getting more snow in the blower. Bend or shape, however u decide, the sides of the scoops a little more inwards to get the snow to the blower easier. Im lovin this thing other wise and im really happy to see ur still enjoying ur hobby when u can, with the newborn and all, also looking forward to seeing the plow too. Have a good one from the rc addicts here in linden Michigan.

Love your videos! Such an inspiration! I'm making my own project overkill with a RC4WD 1/10 scale Boyer truggy metal frame that will push a snow plow inspired by your vids! LOVE your snow blower. Have you considered using a nitro engine to run the snow blower for the Juggernaut? That would be pretty sweet if you could work that out... use a belt drive and some sort of slip clutch to protect bearings, etc.

That is awesome. But it could use an auger in the front for drawing the snow in toward the cylinder. Or the plates angled more to draw the snow in rather than push it.

Great job!! I love watching this Beast!! Just a suggestion, if you want to "blow" more than "push", put a bit more angle on the outer blades and it'll feed the blower a little bit better. Or (heh heh) you could devise an auger style feeding system...

The dually wheels I talked about part number z-w0063 and unfortunately I think they require glue but look good with the baja claw tires

As I'm sure other's have pointed out, it's plowing more than ingesting the snow into the rotary part that throws it out. It's loading up in front and just plowing it forward . Either a change in angle of the side pieces so the angle going into it is narrower and/or something sticking out front to break up the piles of snow so they go into the rotary part easier. Regardless, very cool machine.

I think it's very cool, and by the looks of the pile at the side, you've already got a lot of snow. Don't freeze your jingle bells off, it looks pretty cold out there!!!
