Hello. I want to give you a recommendation of an easy and cheap, but big improvement to the sound, upgrade. The cross over has 3 blue capacitors. These are electrolytic capacitors, witch don't make the speakers perform to their best capacity. Change these blue ones to metalized polypropylene capacitors of the same value as the blues. You will hear a more detailed airy and natural sound with this upgrade, even when using lowpriced polyprop capacitors. Putting a good quality polypropylene capacitor at the tweeter circuit, and the speakers improve the most. It is the tweeter and the midwoofer that will give the most from this upgrade. Voices will sound better when upgrading the midwoofer.
Another interesting video Michael, yeah had one or two problems with buying from E Bay myself in the past the main problem I find re buying second hand speakers
Thanks Brian. The problems I have had is one or both tweeters not working, though you can return them, but its the size, weight and getting back to the courier that becomes the hazzle sometimes.
That crossover schematic doesn't look right. The 8uF is not correctly placed. As it is placed now, there's a dead short across the amplifier at high frequencies.
carry on

Is you don't know how they've been used or treated 😕 so I find it's a bit of a gamble

Good information, thanks
Good tips. Thanks.

Thanks for letting me know, I think I still have this crossover so I will look for it over the next few days and report back.
Yes indeed, that 8uF should be in front of the inductor, not behind it
