I love my desk! I’m a teacher and I stand up all day. I’m actually 5’3” and I don’t think it’s bad at all. I have an adjustable chair and my husband fixed the wireless charger (he has a video about it). Well, some people love it and some don’t. I do recommend it, even for the small space I have. I really appreciate things so much, I don’t look at all the flaws it might have. I enjoy it and I’m thankful I could afford it ❤😊
This is a great review. For people saying "do you know about adjustable chairs", "you didnt plan right", etc...well no, that's the point of a review is to tell people what works and doesnt work. Direct experience is the best review And the best way is to have the desk in front of you. I know plenty of people who have bought it and took it back for the reasons shared here. It's not that people were unaware of these negatives...they wanted to see how well they could work around them. For some, it's perfect; for others, not so much.
My monitor stand clamps (Amazon Basics) actually worked really well. If you can find the right monitor stand then it compensates for the admittedly small size of the desk.
I got the previous version of this desk as a gift and the gifters were really sour that I complained about it... I started to really hate the desk. It was too high for me as well, and part of the issue was the drawer created bulk space between the legs and elbows. I was resting my feet on the bar but it had a sharp edge, I had to wrap it in foam. It was a crowded desktop for a monitor and laptop, and on top of that I liked to draw and there was no comfortable space to write / draw (I recently bought a 60in x 30in wide desk, and much happier). It also broke, it was stuck at the highest setting and kept saying ERROR. Disconnecting it would reset it sometimes and then after that I got so frustrated trying to reset it, I left it unplugged so that it would never accidentally move. If the power went out and came back on, the _default setting_ with the desk was _unlocked_ so sometimes my cat would jump onto the desk and press the button to move the position if this happened (I had some power outage issue). I noticed there was a noticeable HUMM at night coming from the desk, especially when something was plugged in to charge. Costco won't take it back because it broke right after 1 year warranty so I'm trying to figure out what to do with it.
I just ordered one from costco and this review was the first thing that popped up. Yikes! Okay it was a height issue I'm a tall guy and I have a tall chair. Glad that was the only real issue. I was worried that there was a motor or safety problem.
I am having this issue. 2 years into use. 5'8. My shoulder and forearm is aching every day. The table isn't low enough for standard chair height. Now i'm trying to decide if I get a new chair or a new desk
I'm confused? Ain't it an adjustable desk? Why are you using the highest height when u could just lower it to your desired height? Or is the lowest not low enough for you?
you saved em from having these issues. Thank you for this video, i would have had all of the exact same problems. I really appreciate you taking the time to put this out there.
I disagree with this video. It's kind of click-bait. I am 5'10" tall. Lowest setting (27") is perfect height for me when sitting in a computer chair. It's same feeling as office setup. When I'm standing, I use custom height and saved it in one of the custom config slot. Based on your height, you can decide if this is going to work for you or not.
Not hating but i honestly dont understand why ppl say it's too tall. How short is your chair or your legs?? I'm 5'6" tried it at the store, height was perfect.
Great info...thanks for sharing...Tresanti does make a larger standup desk with the same style as this one but don't think Costco carries that one. Re: the monitor arm clamping situation...thanks for sharing that as that is a key consideration. I do think you could have McGiver'ed a solution to mitigate that problem (e.g., use a block of wood) but that of course would require some work. I was wondering if using a clamp style monitor arm was even viable give the glass top (breakage potential). I do agree that @$249 it's a good value and I do like the styling of it. BTW the connecting "rod" between the legs probably significantly improves the overall stability of this desk and hence why it there.
The fact that your complaining bout height adjustment on a height adjustment desk is literally the reason with whats wrong with people in this world..... This is a fail review please buy yourself an adjustable height chair so you don't have to do that wierd motion .
Someone should tell this guy about adjustable height chairs
Except that doesn't work when you are too high and can't touch the ground buddy.
@@mulatto401 🤦♂️ I wonder how that could be solved? Put something under your feet like a step or something 🤔
Lol
Won't work.

Interesting, had the desk for 3 years now, with 2 27” monitors on bottom and one on top. Best desk I’ve personally had.

Wife has one and I’m buying one for myself in the same office. Awesome desk 👍👍
You're doing the world a service. It may be a negative review, but you're very specific and matter-of-fact. Thank you.
I got this desk for christmas back in 2022 and I've been using it ever since. it's actually pretty good. Idk what you're on rn
Would be helpful if you mentioned how tall you are. Perhaps it’s only too high for you but not for others.
I have own a very similar version of this desk for over 3 years... he is right on spot on all his points. The cross bar on the middle is the worst
What I don’t like is the 47 inches wide which is too small for 2 monitors and a desktop. If it were a little wider, I might’ve gotten it.

What desk did you get as the replacement!? I see the legs, they look nice and I'd like to know what kind of desk it is.
The "do not buy" cover was misleading
I just feel most people will be more comfortable with a lower desk.
I'm confused? Ain't it an adjustable desk? Why are you using the highest height when u could just lower it to your desired height? Or is the lowest not low enough for you?
He said that the lowest setting is too high for him when his is sitting. Personally it's not a big problem for me and I'm 5'8
you saved em from having these issues. Thank you for this video, i would have had all of the exact same problems. I really appreciate you taking the time to put this out there.
Phew, luckily I'm 6'4 so it shouldn't be a problem, driving to Costco tomorrow :)

Thanks for the review. The height is big deal for me as I don't want to experience the same pains again from higher desks in sitting position.
OK so first gripe I should be good on because I’m no little person
Mouse is not working without a Mouse pad. weird no?
Isn’t it a standing desk?
29 inches is to tall, how short are you? Most family dining tables are 29 inches tall.
I personally think the lowest setting is too low.
so are you still using the desk?
Not hating but i honestly dont understand why ppl say it's too tall. How short is your chair or your legs?? I'm 5'6" tried it at the store, height was perfect.
The biggest issue for me is the USB ports on the side. USB 2.0 in 2022? Should be 3.0 on all products.
Would it be good for gaming?
Can you please unplug below 8-pin connector and share the photo ? having some issue wid mine.

Love mine but I’m 5’7.
Use adjustable hight chair, hang your leg off chair, rest your foot on desk bar blah blaah.. so many optionss dude
How tall are you bro?
Yeah the desk is too high if you’re sitting on a milk crate
Not good ergonomically, glad you ditched it.
Yes definitely more comfortable with something lower!
I'm 6'2 thank goodness
funny how I’m a 6’9” graphic designer & this chart doesn’t even reach my height
does he know about chair adjustments? or no...
Thank you. You just saved me some dollars. 🙏❤️
I really dislike it when people say this, but....
Thats what she said brother! LOL 1:20
Y para que lo compraste?, ¿para hacer el video y quejarte? 😂🤣
Raise your chair dude and if you’re short get a foot rest 🤦♂️
Thank you, saved time, else I would have had to return
So just a troll video 😂
Hahaha good one
Works good.
you didn't plan right.
