Just finished my first (but not last!) washi tape journal! I used what I had and love it.! I did cut the covers the wrong width but compensated by trimming the pages, so it is not the correct size, but I love it! Did I say, "I love it?" My washi tape is old, so I used glue stick to be sure it stuck. Thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas with the masses and am looking forward to the scrappy class on Monday!
I like how you show different items around the house to accomplish the goals without having to go out and buy equipment. I never would have thought to put a needle in a cork or open a thick book. Love this vid. Thank you.
I'm a first time visitor and I'm very impressed. Lovely idea, beautifully presented. Great that you have 'work arounds' for those of us who don't have the correct tools. This is something I will definitely make. I'm sure I will return to watch more videos. Thank you.
Hello 🤗 Ali 🌹I loved this project the vet 1st time you showed it and still love it today see you tomorrow at noon enjoy your puppy Flo today what a cutie 😊☺️🌹💌🖌️🎨📚🦄🤗❣️❣️
First time to your channel and i LOVE IT!!! JUst finished making my first book (for painting in) and i came here looking for an art journel, large scale. I found your one with the leather cover and the peephole spine perfect for the job and ive ordered my bits and have watched your tutorial and am ready to make it along with u to.orrow, cant wait! You are a fabulous teacher, covering all the bases and keeping things so clear and straightforward! Thanks for that! Cant wait to watch more, having alreadytrawled thru a few videos today. Thanks sooo much, really enjoyed it, saved, shared and subscribed, and commented!!❤️ ❤
Brilliant little book Ali. I have so much washi tape and rarely use it. I also have loads of those file folders in various colours because I can't resist buying stationery when I go to Costco! 😁😁
Well done! I'm a first time visitor. I like the journal and will try this. I like that you suggested work around options for people who don't have special tools.
Thank you for this video. Great ideas and very clear instructions. I do not have a cradle, so what I use is a strip of heavy card, 2" wide and folded lengthwise, with the hole pattern punched. I clip the signatures open, place the card inside the inner most page and punch the holes. Not as good as a cradle, but cheaper and good if you want something portable.
Excellent instructions! Perfect beginners booklet. I’ll knock out 2 of them for my granddaughters to use as a scribble coloring book, and eventually, when they are older, I’ll show them how to make their own. Love the idea of making 2 covers, and use one for pockets. Thanks a bunch.💐
Washi tape never sticks for me. Every brand I use ends up coming up or curling, it will not stick down to anything, so fabric is a great idea! Decorative paper strips would work too.
Thank you, another very good video for us. As I listened to your materials listing you said "…or A4 paper if you live in Europe." You may not be aware that every country in the world except the US, Myanmar and Liberia use the metric system.

Awesome idea!!

Lovely little book. Thank you for such a great project. Did I miss the link for the washi tape?
Oops. I’ll add it.
@@VintagePageDesigns thank you. I'm always looking for good tape.
Great simple little book. Nice job! I’d love to have the Washi link too. 😊
First time here ❤❤❤
Welcome!!!
If you don’t have lots of pretty washi tape… but you do have fabric… you can use fabric strips on double sided tape instead!
Great idea!!!

Washi tape links?
They are from A Dogs Life and Um Wow Studio
