I had a friend who had a 8ft c band dish. I remember watching the 911 wild feeds on it. I also remember the g5 satellite that had tbs and tnt and other channels
Like to see some more fta satellite
Lol 😆 I remember them big retro satellite dishes .
There was no better time to watch TV than in the 90s, on a big C-Band Satellite dish. 🤩 The programming seemed barely controlled, all sorts of exciting channels were available.

I was wondering if you ever tried to align a SAT dish without any stub or pole? Just leaning it on a wall
I tried this with Hotbird 13°E and its actually realy hard to do: th-cam.com/video/kA7mLrdumCc/w-d-xo.html
You move this damm thing a mm and the whole signal is gone, and sadly digital only makes things worse
Also I was wondering if you compare your GTMedia and your SATHero in terms of locking to a weak signal are they similar? I know that the values GTMedia displays seam over exacurated and that at least on DVB-T GTMedia is a complete junk: th-cam.com/video/Q0rqZvnlZec/w-d-xo.html
But at least on DVB-S it does lock to things, even if I dont have exelent conditions to receive satelite
SATHero is sadly a bit hard to get (you only get clones)
BTW2: is your black beauty still enjoying its deserved retirement on your yard?
It will never happen ?
What are you referring to?
too late it already did
