What is a good corp for someone completely new to EvE, but experienced in MMORPGs? I really miss the community that Star Wars Galaxies (pre-hohocron) had. I'm not really interested in "winning" I just want to be helpful for some group. Basically I love tagging along and trying to be useful, or at least entertaining in chat.
There are a lot of new player friendly corps out there. The most famous is eve university. Depends on the comradery within the group more than anything though.
Eve looks really cool game and im thinking of trying it, really would love to play as somekind of bountyhunter how possible is that for a completely new player?
Eehh.. It's possible but don't expect much, you will have fun yes. The grind is long yes. And you can be a day one bounty hunter yes. Only thing holding you back is skill training required for higher bountys and time spent online to get the knowledge needed. It is possible but will take time. At the start you may get 1k-5k bountys....a few skills later amd some knowledge where to go, you can make 300k-500k a bounty see the difference Im sitting at about 3m a bounty in null sec my fleet mate is arpund 7m a boutny low sec.....depends on your play style my dude just have fun its a MASS IVE LEARNING CURVE
TH-cam is being very draconian in suppressing the truth. I suggest keeping one (unpaid - yes, commercials suck) acct. for just viewing content, and another if you want to taunt the TH-cam banhammer algorithm.
@@resurrectedstarships loved this series. I don't smile widely on ppl who dump their time into MMORPGs, but EVE is in a class by itself - _sui generis_ - and you ARE a good storyteller. Looking forward to more.

Brave alliance
any of the larger alliances like goons, pandemic horde, test, braves have newbie corps that help out quite a bit
You will have zero significance in a large nullsec alliance, as a noob just keep this in mind.
