You might consider mentioning the use of barring the “A” chords! You have very feminine fingers. I am big guy, when I started playing I tried that finger positioning and got lot of buzzing. Just an idea, love your content!

Very nice. Way back in high school, 1977, a friend of mine started a band and they played a lot of Neil Diamond. Now I know why! It sounds great and with the advanced strumming, it sounds harder than it is. Thanks again Amber!

In my 70s and can't seem to memorize songs (even when I was young!). I am a logical nerd with very little talent for music. Any chance to get a pdf with the chords and tabs combined? I can haphazardly follow tablature on my guitar.... I like your step by step teaching style. It suits my wondering brain!

I really enjoy your videos. Sometimes, I just enjoy you playing and singing. Still working on Sweet Caroline. The strumming is beating me. DD-UDU. Playing chords, strumming, singing - a little overwhelming. During your play along I can only do down strokes because I have to think too much about the strumming. How do you remember all the various strumming variations for every song you play.
Hi Jay 😊 for the time being, keep it SIMPLE! And slowly add the strumming pattern over the next few weeks. Trying to do it all at once can result in it not sounding right. With strumming patterns, they eventually become something you ‘feel’. I don’t memorise them- I can listen to any song and create the strumming pattern based on what I hear and feel. It comes with heaps of practice and time! I’ve been playing for over 20 years ⭐️

Hi Martin 😊 you are so welcome! I’m glad this song has come at just the right time 😁😁 for the A6, you can just keep playing a normal A chord instead - it will sound great like that too 😃🎵
A6 is impossible unless you have tiny little Deadpool fingers or are a child.. My giant meat pointers can't squeeze together for it. Suggestions for a substitute? Great video Amber I love this song :)
I use a different A6 which may help. Use forefinger to squish all the strings down for A then use another finger on 3rd string 4th fret. Prefer the sound.

I think it depends on your audience. I aim my lessons at beginners so try to break things down and keep things simple as possible 🙏

Haha 😅 oh dear! Well I would then suggest using your index finger to barre over all the strings to create the A6 chord 🙌
