your a ledgend man so proud of you caring for Jonathan he is Ledgend as well in my eyes .
The fact that you can get in there and TIG all those tight spots is insane
Nice updates! Good job as always!
Amazing work!! You guys make this look easy, I know it's not but you make it look that way! Definitely nice to know and work with the inspector to make sure it's right the first time!
Thank you for the videos. I enjoy every one of your videos. Hope you get to do more racing. Keep those videos coming.
Crazy for what that car runs how fast that car is!!!! 🤯🤯
Amazing work, as always. Thanks
I got a lot of RSM stuff on my Camaro and I absolutely love it. 🇺🇸💪
Order the lift off door kit today
Man that turned out nice. Rock solid no doubt.
Grubbworm 💪
😎👍
Love your work! Remember when you started a long time ago. Was curious about the A pillar brace that runs through the floor and is supposed to tie together across the bottom… I know with the Stick cars you can’t weld that in, so is there a way around that?
You can. The 6c (middle) is removable
Awesome in depth and informative video! Keep up the bad ass content sir
Badass work. Why the spring launchers instead of air?
Because he wanted them lol
Looks good man damn good work
That's a lot of work. Did the car already have the floor structure 2A, 7A etc or is that not needed?
Already had 2a as square tube from the 25.5. None of the diagonals or anything in the floor are required if the OEM floor remains. We added chromoly 2a bars to satisfy the upgrade rather than destroy the floor getting the other bars out.
Always wild to me this much is required for not much more et.
Where do you get all your info for building cages, like what size bars and where you need them??
Nvm just got to the part where you mentioned the sfi book
For what it takes to upgrade a cage like that!!!🤯🤯🤯🤯
You might aswell over build the cage the first time!!!!!
Alot of time invested and yoga also!!!!👍👍👍🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is there a reason the front upper X bars are tilted down and not at the same angle as the rear lower X? Seems more visually appealing to have it be a perfect X
Sometimes we do them lower to help get in and out of the car. This particular time I just put them in the same spot that the other bar used to be because the dash Mount was already there above it.
What's the rule on complete welds on the top X bars and gussets? I doubt you were able to get full welds, with the roof on and not being able to drop the cage.
Curious because I want to update my cage, too, and will be in the same boat.
;)
I got full weld. Ain't never easy but there was enough room to get it done
@@rocksolidmotorsports7297 Nice!
Does he not want to go through the time and money to carbon and tin the floors? Seems like there is probably 200lbs there?
Wouldn't be that much by the time you added the extra bars required for cutting the floor.
The hot side issues are gone now with the last update?
So far so good.
How many hours did the update take?
Paint and all was about 30ish for everything done this time around
@@rocksolidmotorsports7297 Cool, thanks, for the replies!
I learn something every time I watch a video Steve
Not so much the landscape tho
Just sayin
Landscape is mental disconnect work lol. Keep things simple on that end because i'm a newby
I maintain some oil trucks
The owner has a bigass excavator with 2ft tracks
A cat 410 4x4 backhoe and the biggest cat skid steer with multiple attachments
He got it burned to a crisp he and I rebuilt it
He just brought the mower for the skid
MANEATER
YIKES
You guys ROCK
