Jackson Holes gotta learn if you’re gonna charge $200+ for a day pass you have to keep your most iconic run open. Kings and queens is sweet but closing Corbets weeks in advance and then weeks after is not fair for skiers coming to Jackson hole
If you’re coming to Jackson just to ski Corbets then don’t

You can't really plan a trip around it, unless pretty last minute. It's often closed due to weather or other bad conditions, but is best right after said weather closure, it opens when it opens. It's not worth doing if it's totally skied out, icy or otherwise terrible imo, that's just a dangerous stunt without much reward. Catching it when it's good is the trick, and it's just luck, and the odds aren't high, especially if you're there visiting. Op is right it isn't very fair to paying guests.

Corbetts look cool but nothing compares to Alaska !! Its just a Ski Resort Run. I dont see and crevasses or Seracs above and its not at 20,000 feet. And the ski patrol will cart you ruptured ACL ass off the mountain.
