This sounds like the teaching of Prophet Muhammad: “Take up good deeds only as much as you are able, for the best deeds are those done regularly even if they are few.”. What you did in this video is explain why that teaching of Prophet Muhammad is an effective strategy. Fantastic video, thank you!

    Video summary:
Kaizen is the question “What extremely small step can I take to improve the process or product?”
These tiny steps will accrue over time to significant progress.
When you take tiny but regular steps towards a goal, you tip-toe past your brain's fear response which removes the urge to distract ourselves and allows us to take action without the fear of failure.
Start by asking small questions and focus on small rewards. Break your big goal down in to tiny focused goals. Focus on just the very next, small, step, and when you achieve it, give yourself a pat on the back.

Now I have a full gym at home & have a way better physique with waay wider shoulders, arms, etc. Kaizen works

Great overview and nicely done by covering the main topics with small stories from the book.
    Good job.
During the reading I felt the book was missing more examples from real life and it is trying to stretch the simple concept to a book. It could have been written in 20 pages instead od 100. Still worth reading and good concept.

We undertook this program at a small cabinet and joinery firm in Australia, we went from making kitchens for Mr Jones down the street to building shop fittings for Calvin Klein , Versace, Hermes of Paris to name a few. That transition happened within 6 months and later launched me into successful careers in the resources sector. The philosophy is transferable to all industry but is beneficial particularly to manufacturing. I strongly recommend it to any manufacturer of goods as it’s the difference between success and stagnation.

This is a way of putting a frog in water and slowly heating it up before you know it the frog is unable to jump out of hot water. In like manner if you do something very slowly without any drastic changes then you are able to adapt to changes around you. Whatever the outcome will be is determined by what you focus on. Not if you were take a frog and throw them in hot water he is able to jump over right away because he hasn't been conditioned. We are just condition yourself to changes when we don't do things drastically when we focus on a goal and take small steps it helps us to adapt

    DIVIDE AND RULE
In school I have heard how the births government rule the world and also broke the world into pieces, it was impossible for them to rule over such a huge nation all of sudden but it did not happen suddenly it took time, they had enough patience, consistency, and practice they rough broke peoples unity and when they saw people already divided into this huge lad in the name of god and religion and caste and subcaste it became very easy for them to manipulate peoples mind. It would have been very difficult to take over a huge land like India at a time so they took control over the nation part by part slowly, steadily, calmly and patiently. Later it was observed that they took control over the entire nation and other continents around. The ancient ones knew this technique go how to divide things and work on them so that they could get control over others easily. This is the same way you have to work with yourselves. You need enough patience, practice, consistency, calms and most importantly you need to know which area of your you first need to work and this is how you can untangle yourself from a bunch of suffering. Would you call it courage or madness when you think of climbing the Everest straight away? I mean if you take a look at Everest it is huge, very tall and if you want to climb how would you climb. How many days you would require to climb do you even know this? Most of the time it will look impossible if you just look at the Everest to climb, it scares your it shall make you feel unworthy of the climb but what if I told you do not focus on the entire mountain now and just focus on the smaller part of it, a tiny portion of it would it make your thought process a bit easy now, would you feel good about it that you have climbed a smaller place of the mountain, although you are not at the cliff of it, someday with this attitude you will be and you are aware that you have not climbed the top but a part of it, how would you feel, I am sure better and relaxed. On other side what If you look at the mountain and there are thoughts in your head that how is it possible to climb such a huge peak and it can’t be done, give up and maybe you would have climbed a bit of the mountain but you have that feeling of anxiety your thoughts are overpowering you, they are trying to say that its a worthless climb, you can’t do just take a look that you are far from the cliff, very far. Two scenarios one same peak to climb both the person are on the same stop on the foothill of the Everest but both with different perceptions and attitude. One is glad he could take fewer steps and the other one is angry frustrated, depressed and craving for the climb with internal war and the other one is simply inner peace. Now which one would like to be you the first one with peace of mind or the frustrated mind. Are you amongst those who would go to the gym, start working out come home with muscular pain and the next day you do not go back to the gym anymore? I have seen everywhere people telling us to dream big but nobody has told us how to achieve those dreams if they would have told it to anyone then they would charge money to others for sharing their secrets as a motivational speaker. I see a point in dreaming big but I never knew how to achieve them until I had to divide my dream into bits and pieces every time. We find it easy to dream big just like imagining to climb the Everest but when it comes to reality it is very difficult and In terms, many of them quit and most of them often quote “ Do not quit”. I bet writing such quotes is much easier than to dream big. Dream big, break the dream into pieces, go for pieces one by one, this is just like breaking the Everest into pieces, this is similar to conquering India like the British army did, taking one smaller step at a time. You can dream big but you cannot achieve big dreams as you see them. You have to be in reality. Take a look, observe it, use your senses and see if the dream is big you really achieve it as you saw or is it easier for you to break it into pieces and work on every small detail. If you want to quit smoking you cannot, even if your body organs have given up and they are to its final limit and you cannot get over smoking 50 cigarets a day then you should try quitting one cigaret a day. Do not look at the bigger part as it may disappoint you and convinces you to quit this habit. Quitting 50 cigarets in a day is a tough job like climbing Everest In one go or building huge muscles in a day or becoming a billionaire in a day. I not sure if you can quit smoking 50 cigarets in a day if you have been used to smoking or addicted to it from last 5 years but I am confident that you can quit smoking by reducing one cigaret a day or maybe half a day and in less than 3 months you can get over this addiction which was hurting you. You try to quit smoking in a day which is your habit from the last 5 years it is nearly impossible and maybe when you know that it is impossible then you might not quit smoking but you might defiantly quit from not smoking because you have always been looking at the things which you cannot do, you found a reason of not doing it, whereas if you dived things into parts you may find a reason that it was easy job and took a little of your energy and was achievable. Take a small, minor step today and maybe in the certain number of days or months you will get over the top of the Everest, you may just not touch any of your smoke ever again. We have often been told to focus but we are never taught on how to focus because this is what others know, they know how to quote, they know how to say dream big, follow your dreams no matter what, just don’t quit but they do not know how to apply it in your day to life. I am sure that all of us have that one addiction which we do not like but we keep doing it repeating it daily and regularly without our choice. It is not that we haven’t tried to get rid of it but it is that we tried to get over it but all of sudden just in a day. A habit that you have build from many years will take time to finish and when people fail to see things this way they quit from changing themselves no wonder why people cannot change but want other to change. We need to work on ourselves a lot and to work on ourselves we need patience, persistence, awareness, consistency and many more things such as our sense. You can stop smoking but not all of sudden it would be like pulling out the tree from with the root all of sudden, it would be hurting yourself all of sudden when you do not see things clearly. When people try to not do the things all of sudden which they were doing it from years, the body experiences some sudden changes and if something changes very quick it is not adopted by the body and the body demands it in more amount than before, this could be hurting and more depressing. By simply doing things without observing them is just going to hurt us more. You wanted to quit smoking but now you found that you have been smoking more than before. If there is a sudden change in the body our senses are more alert, aware that there is a change within and the body demands the food that it has stopped receiving all of sudden, therefore a sudden change is not helpful but more hurtful. When couples decide to separate why does it happen that they crave for each other more and more even when they know that this relationship is not going to help them at all, it is the body which was used to this behavior and when all of a sudden body experienced something new it tried to get back the person but this time with more power of craving. We are naive about this things because parents we have will tell us to change but they cannot tell us how to change because they themselves don’t know how to change similarly schools and the world around you teaches you to become someone or something because they themselves do not know who they are in the first place and when a person doe not know who is it he goes on creating a new identity. People will always tell you to become something because they do not know how to just be and they do not know how to just be is because they have been using all their attention and focus on how to to become that which you are not. We have been passed information but that is either half or unreal could be because people do not know how to do it or could be because they do not want others to know the secret. We have heard stories but not the real one. Rather than focusing on goals just focus on a goal and when you focus on a Goal break that goal into smaller sections and then focus on one section of the goal it is just like climbing a ladder one small step at a time. You can also rush towards the top but you shall fall again and when you have to take the steps your habit would only be rushing and you would just quit from the goal itself, this is the reason why most of us quit from doing what is important for us to do. We fail to see reality as it is, rather than failing we just do not see, we do not observe we have lost our patience and clarity, presence of mind. Climb Everest but with one small step, quit smoking but with one smoke a day. If you want the inner change to happen then focus on part at a time, this is applicable in every act we do in our daily activities, when you drink your tea just drink the tea, enjoy the tea, sip it, feel it just be one with the tea and not with the tea and your phone & the world we better place to live, place to enjoy and relax.

Don't let any oppressed people view this video.
They might get some ideas. Like making their lives a little bit better every day and making better decisions.

As a retired animator watching the 'software made pseudo animation' again....makes me want to punch someone in the face. However, I will start small and look at a boxing glove for a minute. a day.

I wouldn't really contribute high quality of Japanese products only to KaiZen though, the craftman mindset and spirit are the reason behind if you think japan is leading almost every aspect in almost every area except a couple few.
