King when I was in my 20ies.....I am now 77 years old..... and he was so nice and a real gentleman.....I was told that from Luddy Saams . when I was in Jamaica for a holiday at the DRIFTERS BAR.....He is also a wonderful singer and man....!!!!BRAVO to all these Black male singers... they are the best....!!!!

I have to say, what an excellent line up of talent. However, Mark King's bass line just shines!!! How he keeps that going is beyond my comprehension. I think that was the GB Bass?? Well, whatever bass Mark King chooses to play, you are "Guaranteed" an amazing show. Kudos to all!!
Actually Mark King was still playing JayDee basses in 1987, this powder blue one was quite special, as was a pink one that he played at Wembley in 1986 for a Level 42 tour along with his original Cherry Red JayDee supernatural bass. I didn’t see him play a GB Bass until 1999/2000
