    This is great, I grew up in Arizona and when you were painting the sky and background mesas I almost got homesick, you to totally nailed the Arizona sky.

    • @brennerfineart
      @brennerfineart  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks a lot :-))) But I can`t add an arabic translation...I would have to add it manually and that is impossible for me. Try one of the free speach to text converters on the internet - this should work when you record what I say and convert it to arabic!

    So stunning! I really like the way that you capture the lighting in the canyon. I'm so glad you did a rock painting video since my next painting has rocks and cliffs in it, and I need the guidance. For your dry brush technique on the rock details, does the paint need to be very thin like your dry brush technique for seafoam in your wave videos?

    • @brennerfineart
      @brennerfineart  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Rebecca :-))) The colour needs to be thinned down "fluid", so that you can easily get a "flow" in the colour and on the brush - meaning that you don`t have to struggle to get the colour on the layer of colour beneath. But not too thin so that it won`t cover well - think of it as a thicker glaze. Best thing is to try on a tiny spot first and rework the consistency so long (thinner or thicker) so that you can work quickly but also achieve a nice coverage.

    • @brennerfineart
      @brennerfineart  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for being on board now :-)))) It depens upon what you add to the colour and how thick you put it on. But in general those colours take a few days to really become bone dry.

    What part of the paintings did you use acrylic and what parts did you use oil? I am trying to recreate this masterpiece .. it’s amazing

    • @brennerfineart
      @brennerfineart  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks a lot :-))) I basically used for this painting just the Winsor & Newton water mixable oil colours (link is in the description box) for the underpainting and for the final layers. I have to admit that I get more and more into using solely the water mixable oils for the whole process as I start to put in a more and more detailed layer as the underpainting. I do sometimes a lot of blending on these first steps and acrylics are pretty much dry the moment you put them on the painting surface preventing the colours to be blended.

      A huge wave painting is coming up in the near future (painting is finished, just need to edit the material) - but what exactly do you mean by clear water? white water? The foam the wave is producing when it crashes?
