Wow, that’s the best grass I’ve ever seen!! Thank you!!🤩
Thanks :-))))))))))
Fantastic tutorial! many thanks
Thank you!!!!!
5:40 that's a really good point. Use the base colour on the light side to produce highlights in the dark area and use the base colour in the dark area in the transition in the lighter area.
Yes :-))
Absolutely beautiful! Amazing 😍👏👏
Thank you so much :-))))
Your art is absolutely charming, and so appealing to look at great detail keep pumping out the uploads I look forward to more content!!!
Thank you so much :-)))) And yes - more videos will be coming every Sunday :-))) Perhaps...if all goes perfect, I may add another one or two a month from the end of March/April on after reorganizing my life :-)
Love it. So beautiful. Your paintings look so real.
Thank you Vicky :-)))
This is so good I thought I saw the trees move in the wind. I bet you can paint wind. Ty for sharing your art with us. You inspire me 😊
Thank you Tonya :-))) Painting wind...that would be a big challenge ;-))) But thank you for your feedback! That`s what I really love about doing TH-cam - you get people getting back to the easel and I can be a part of that by motivating people with the stuff I do and show - fantastic :-)))
@@brennerfineart ❤️

SO BEAUTIFUL WORK 👍
Thank you :-)))
Lo haces ver tan sencillo . Bella obra.
¡Muchas gracias! Con suficiente práctica, también es "fácil": practica mucho, mucho, y luego irá solo :-)))
It looks so real, beautiful 😍
Thank you :-))))
It’s very beautiful, the way you paint. I never saw such a realistic painting. I am a very beginner. Can you show me how to paint dried grass in the front? Like if you lay on the ground?
Thank you :-)))) Perhaps I can do one day a tutorial you asked for but I`m not sure when...
Schönnnnnnn!
Vielen Dank!!!
Fantastic job 👏👏👏
Thanks :-))))
Perfeito seu trabalho! Parabéns!!!
Muito obrigado :-))))
amazing lesson one more time Thanks a lot my friend
Thanks a lot :-)))
Wow so nice! You are so talented
Thank you :-)))
I am going to try painting this and go ahead sir ............
Yes, give it a try :-)))
ha, the palette plate makes another appearance! I SO have to get my hands on a really stiff, coarse fan brush. All the ones I have are too soft and the hairs stick together even with thinned down paint. They make clumps instead of fine lines. I have other brushes I let paint dry on the fibres then cut with a knife to allow me to make multiple fine lines.
Yes ;-))) I used it for a while, was not too shabby ;-) fan brushes are sometimes a nightmare...they really do "glue" together too much...thats why I often switch back and forth between a fan brush and a small round brush with long hair.
@@brennerfineart YES!!! I'm looking around at hog hair fan brushes so the bristles will be stiffer.
I'm also a carpenter/metal worker so I'm going to try and make my own fan brush with some really coarse firm bristles (if I can't find one). There's an art store 2 small towns north of me, going to visit them and see what they have after the christmas rush.
good idea :-) even though I prefer the a bit softer ones...and longer...but they can be annoying as we know @@muskokamike127
@@brennerfineart yes, they all have their uses, I have plenty of soft ones so I'm going to fiddle with making a coarse one. I was sweeping up the shop this morning and looked at the bristles on the broom....heyyyy that gives me an idea! Cut some off and use them in a stiff fan brush. I'll let you know how it works out! Then first thing I was brushing my teeth....held up the toothbrush...hmmmm :-))))
@@muskokamike127 a good example of seeing your possiblities as an artist EVERYWHERE ;-)
Me encanta su estilo de pintura, muy realista. Gracias por compartirlo.
Obrigado Margarita :-)))
Super 👏👏👏
Thank you 🙂
I have just come across this tutorial, very informative, and in my style of painting. I like to make a canvas last!😁
Can you tell us where you buy your brushes? They look ideal for grass painting?
Beautiful work Brenner.
Thank you Carole :-))) I get the small details brushes on ebay. They are cheap ones from china and I bought them here in Germany in a set of 12. I go through SO many of them that I will not buy expensive ones ;-))) Additionally they do the job REALLY well I have to admit.
You are simply amazing! You are the BEST artist that I follow! The only thing is that sometimes I have an issue understanding your accent. NO offense though! Where are you from if you don't mind my asking?
Thank you Kelly :-))) I am from Germany...therefore you might have some problems as we germans have this awful thick german accent ;-))) But I hope it will get better over time with more practice :-))))
@@brennerfineart Well it's not awful. It's pretty cool but I just struggle with some words at times! I want to join your patreon group and will sign up my next payday. :)
@@kellycaufield Great :-))) I hope you will like it on my patreon - see ya soon :-))) And I really try to improve my denglish, big promise :-)))
Your English is fabulous
wow very nice
Thanks :-))) You really seem to like grass painting tutorials?
hy you prevent your site patreon to be shown to some people like us in the middle east???
No...I do not prevent any country to have access to my patreon page...I can actually not influence AT ALL who has access and who has no access....but perhaps you could switch to the incognito mode on your browser, perhaps then you will have access?
I like ,Verry good
Thank you :-)))
it takes soo long but the result was soo realistic,
Thank you :-) Yes, you need patience for it...but I think it`s worth it :-)))
very good
Thanks a lot :-)))
I love your techniques and paintings. However I have a question & that is can I draw this same painting with colored pencils and get the same effects?
No, with colour pencil it will look different. The pencils don`t have the same optical appearance like the oils. But you can still give it a try :-)))
Sorry what’s the fan looking brush called? 😊😊
It may sound ridiculous but this thing is REALLY just called a "fan brush" :-))))
@@brennerfineart oh!! Haha that’s awesome! Thank you so much! Loooove your painting!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi
Hallo :-)
@@tatjanapernjak4303 Sehr gerne :-))
Ee aku g ngerti eee
apik sing wis ngerti :-)))
I love your painting skills but you may as well not speak as I never can get to understand most of your sentences. Could you maybe close caption your videos as the TH-cam CC is a joke thanks
Thank you Ron :-))) I do talk completely without any script...I simply do not have the time to do it as I still work 75% at a publishing house to make ends meet, get my life handled, do a painting every other week, film the whole process and cut the video for youtube and Patreon...did you ever try a headset? This might help, computer speakers/speakers on a laptop are really pretty bad unfortunately
