McFlurry shows how much this team has grown. Finished this car last minute and it goes 8.25 first full pass and 200 miles down and zero issues so far. Such an accomplishment and shows how well oiled this team has become.

@@middletnpyro Have you ever rowed something? The whole reason it's called rowing gears is because it resembles the cyclic motion of rowing in that you go down, then up, then down, then back up. This Mustang transmission is literally pulling a single lever followed by pulling an entirely different lever.
Thus, no. Row is not in the slightest bit appropriate.

@@hadenwalker2877 I think it started with neighbor. Everything about that car won him over, then he dropped that GT500 engine in it. It goes from cold start to the rev limiter until it boils over the coolant every time they turn the key and it just kept taking it. The nitrous hit on the Dyno hurt it a bit and they finally broke a timing chain but the rebuilt engine got absolutely thrashed and held up amazingly well.
You know it's getting serious when RedBull asks Cleet for a favor!

I hope I can explain this from my experience. 1st stop trying to make it pretty with the strap staying level from one anchor to another, that cause the wind to make it vibrate. Try and put something between your suspected sharp edge and the strap (cardboard or plastic will do) then put a twist i the strap so the wind stops making it vibrate.

Hey Garret. Have you considered using a magnetic disconnect for your alternator? Similar system to an aircon drive. So you can use your input/output set point rpm to disconnect the alternator above your chosen rpm and save the cost of nuking alternators.
