Kevin full sideways with the calmest slap of the chutes ever. 😮
I came to say the same thing, dudes cool as a cucumber, trust your procedure deal with it as it comes .
thats after he popped in to neutral while facing the wall
he was almost backwards
He is used to wrecking on tracks around other people, Nice of him this time not to fuck it up for others.
Kevin is 100% A Pro Driver!
That's what's wild is how calm and together Kevin kept it the whole time. Flipped the chute, and got it handled. What a legend
Kevin's a prick in daily life. I assume that's why he and cleetus quietly fell away from each other
@@SAVAGE_A7 well sorry you feel that way. There are many of us that would disagree. Sounds like you have a personal beef for no reason 🤷🏻♂️
@@SAVAGE_A7 only prick i see is you.
@@SAVAGE_A7 kevin and cleetus fell away? say what now? you obviously don't know shit if you think youtube videos are the only time when they see or talk to each other
@@SAVAGE_A7 Lol, nothing more s.d.e. than starting baseless rumors out of either ignorance or lame attempt at trolling.
The swedish dudes with the corvette, when it goes straight it is a force to be reckon with and the driver just seems like sucha humble and cool dude to sit around and bullshit with
His riden that thing like a wild bronco all week, just seeing the driving has been awsome. Its one angry car...
It takes a lot to make me like a C4 Corvette - I like that C4 Corvette!!!
@@info1418that thing is always that way how they haven’t completely destroyed it yet i have no idea
Weren't they running 5s with it last year ??
Man that thing goes when it hooks
6.26 for Brett absolutely insane! Congrats Brett and team. coyote power to the front 💪
I have a feeling we might see more coyotes next year. He didn't even have to work on it. Flat out insane performance by Brett and his crew
@@alexpirie9947he said that was stock bottom end? Keeping up with a promod? That’s crazy
@bigdawgs94 not really a stock bottom end. It's stock block that's sleeved stock crank. Forged from there out. Still just flat out insane the power and reliability they achieved
@@alexpirie9947billet crank, watch some of his videos. Impressive beast regardless though!!
Kevin is a wheel man in whatever he's driving. I'm glad him and the car are ok. Go KSR!!
Kevin's a prick
That was insane. Looked like he stayed calm and pulled the chute. Awesome save
Yea he was probably doing 130 mph when that spun out one heck of a save!!
@Josh_D03 yea, he did, but when you panic, it usually doesn't turn out well.
Proves that he wrecks more than he drives. proves that this one time he didn't hit the wall, he usually, does that.
Nonetheless, a wreck after a wreck is probably not a good wheelman, LOL. And/or mechanic. But he's probably better than me cause cause i'm not doing it go k s r
The Swedes in the C4 are just mental, that car looks like a whole damn handful
The whole week, trying to tame that thing! Takes one big hairy sack 😂
Introducing SRC was definitely the best part of the video. Knowing where they came from to do the drag and drive is sick. GO SRC!!!
Absolutely. Best channels on TH-cam
It's awesome to see the Hoskinsons there and getting into all types of drag racing. The no prep, street, and outlaw track drag racing will always be the purest form of drag racing, IMO, but it's awesome to see them out doing some drag and drives. Great coverage and content throughout the week, much appreciated 1320 dudes 👏.
That coyote platform + lasalle's ability to fine tune that car has proven itself over and over. One of the fastest cars out there
Isn’t it a 5.2 tho
@@Elitegamerxd114yes, predator block which is coyote based
@@Elitegamerxd114It’s sleeved down to a 302
@@Elitegamerxd114 Doesn't make a difference, it's the same engine platform
Dude... Kevin saved himself and a brother!!! What a driver, what a move!!!
I wanna conversate with you
Man the coyote is really showing its capabilities. It's just flat out wild to see a ford casted coyote running and taking 1st going against big ci pro mod engines. You'll probably see more 5.0l running next year
35:25 "There's nothing to be sorry about" -- I love the level-headedness and team attitude of Jeff Lutz. A true legend.
Lutz didn't finish but he got the itch again and i think we'll be seeing him at drag n drives as often as his schedule will allow... Kevin proved once again that he is a flat out wheel man
It seemed like he was off last night when I was at the track watching this. I think he just wanted to be there for his fans
Lutz didn’t have an ounce of fun lol
Think his son is getting him back into it.
@@nastynotch8314 From Tom's day 4 video interviewing them, it's definitely his son. Jeff seemed ready to give up instead of replacing bearings, but his son said this is why we do it
@@FreddyFunderbunzu think he was paid 😅
The gentleman with the old 29, is the OG of drag an drive. All original. What a legend. True spirit mate.
1320 coverage and editing has been exceptional!
As one who has criticized Lutz for the TV drama, I must applaud him for his efforts this week. He's starting to look like the guy we followed in NSCA, and running with the scoreboards on is a step back to reality. Pulling the car out of mothballs and starting as hard as he did is quite the accomplishment.
The more I see of Lutz the more I dislike the guy. He is starting to come across as a sore loser. He talks a big game like he is committed to winning, but dig a little under the surface and you'll find someone who is a little bitch if he doesn't. Little comments here and there in different videos and it's not a desire to win, it is hates to lose.
@@wetsox278I tried watching the Street Outlaws show but it was just so much bs and drama. There’s enough excitement in racing, you don’t need scripted shit to pull views.
@@aaronpreston47 couldn't agree more. They keep on saying that drama is good for ratings which I think is complete garbage. Of all the so called reality shows I have watched, most of them have been ultimately ruined and I have stopped watching them due to fabricated drama. Why can't they just let the show be the show instead of trying to inject acting.
What a machine snot rocket is.. Ford has designed some pretty quality parts to hold that kind of power.
Huge respect and congrats to Brett LaSalla.. The amount of testing and how he has worked from the bottom up with that platform is amazing, and is trying to be replicated all over the racing community.. The reliability of that combo to run bottom 6's on a 28" tire is flat out insane.. They will run a 5 second pass in that car this year!! IMO.. There should't be any big tire/pro mod cars doing this stuff anyways.. It should be limited to factory style cars, no tube chassis.. I would go so far as to say you should have to do the drives in between tracks the same way you race.. I don't like the whole "takes 1.5-2.0 hours to switch over" bullshit..
Way to go Brett, stock block, crank and heads 302 cubes Ford baby LETS GOOOO!!!!!
🤘😎🤘
What they have done with that stock block coyote engine and small tire radial is very impressive. Well done!
That mustang is an absolute weapon ..just brilliant
This green stang makes me wanna build a coyote
Excellent edits guys! @19:49 the 29 Ford runs 21:33 at 63:58 THEN @20:25 we watch the Sweed take his 'Vette thru the traps 6:64 at 224:43,, the slowest VS one of the FASTEST at SickWeek 2024,, awesome editing 🙂 ***On that***,, who wouldn't stand and applaud the international racers who sacrifice so much to come to America and run these Drag 'n Drive's,, they deserve a rousing round of applause from EVERYONE!!
Old Mans Garage, Street Racing Channel, Cleetus, and 1320 are the reasons I stay on TH-cam! And Nicks Garage ;)
Kevin from ksr is a freaking professional driver! He could be a stig for sure. Nobody else could have kept it off the wall like that. He was completely sideways. So glad he saved it. That car is a legend.
Can you over exaggerate anymore? There have been a lot hairier situations or the driver did a much more exceptional job of keeping it off the wall and out of the other guy's face. Was it a good job Yes was it exceptional no All he had to do was throw the shoots and pump the brakes. What are you present of his fan club?
@@mikestraley7201You’re a bit sad.
He sure seemed calm, cool and collected while it was happening! That was phenomenal driving by Kevin!
Snot rocket more land rocket 6:26 on 28 radials and stock block is absolutely ridiculous congratulations to everyone who completed. the week and congratulations to everyone who won. there class and a special mention to Tom Bailey puts on an amazing event hasn’t finished his own event in the past 2 years third time is the charm and thank you 1320 always bringing us amazing footage from every drag and drive events throughout the year
3:10 look at the way Kevin get's his chute out! So gangster the way he calmly slap's the release. Also if he wouldn't have done it at that very second he would have hit the red Corvette.
Billy and his Pop, super class act right there, very much some of the best people I've came to watch in all racing the last few years. I'm going straight to their videos after this...
YOO ❤
The sheer amount of confidence Kevin has behind the wheel is amazing. Calm and collected smack the chute and let it save you
Kevin’s in car footage was awesome! the fact he can react so fast to knowing where the car is heading and look over to grab the chutes that fast. One hell of a driver
Snot Rocket has to be on the most Dialed-In cars I have ever seen... Car just keeps doing better and better. Its insane.
Just want to thank you guys for finally getting around to some of the other cars. And more precisely, the Hoskinson's.
Just an idea, but you could have a separate camera crew cover the "Little Guys".
You were pointing the wrong direction at one point Kevin 😮! When in doubt pull the Chiuuuuiiiite.
I've watched a lot of drag racing in my 44 years of living and have never seen a car just work like snot rocket that combo is unreal.. congrats Brett
Brette job well done showing folks what the coyote platform can do
Freakin Kevin with the best save of sick week. Tom Bailey needs to make an award for that!
Sickest Save ez
Glad to see SRC and Old mans garage! Thanks for interviewing them!
Congrats to Brett in the MINIMOD!
Kevin wins the Wheelman of the week award!!!
lutz needs a coyotah swap!
Small tire 302 for the overall win?!?!? What a world we living in..
Truly amazing
Beautiful ain't it?
@@douglasjenner5064 Yes sir and best of all a SBF in a Ford and literally eating Big blocks for lunch LOL.
@@TallStarlitebut but but…the track was prepped for radials… 😂
@@joelopez5018Yeah, like that's any kind of an excuse....it's 3000hp pushing along 2850lbs, through 10.83 inches....Lutz was just pissed that a tiny Ford engine was going better than his HUGE Chevy !!
Kevin slapping the chute lever while seeing nothing but the wall in front of him shows how truly talented (well seasoned) his driving skills are and
his reactions literally save TWO cars from getting seriously damaged👍👍
I've been wondering if he had his auto chute deploy table activated (after it dumped the chutes at least once last year when they wished it didn't) and this obviously shows it wasn't...
In his video Kevin said he had programmed the safety chute wrong in the Holley. His mistake.
Brett with the green Mustang is a cool customer…
I'm not a Ford fan, but Brett definitely gave us all something to think about. He seems like a really nice guy, and glad he won it.
KEVIN!!
Love the Nonchalant parachute grab! Time to DRIVE!! Been watching you since I knew you built mullet. Awesome job
Coyote is undisputed the best engine platform ever engineered.
Car: *goes sideways 3/4 down the track*
Kevin: *casually slaps the parachute handle*
It's almost like KSR does this like every week. Or he simply does not know what "fear" is... 😁😜🤟
The view from Kevin’s channel is amazing
Thank you 1320 Video for a Great week of coverage of Sick Week!
That Green Mustang grips so hard good golly!!!
Bret and his team have the mustang figured out and dialed. It's crazy how consistent it gets down the strip without spinning and goes perfectly straight every time. Congrats to those guys!
Congratulations Brett! You deserve it for all y'all's hard work! That Coyote just screams!
That save was insane
Jeff Lutz is such a great humble guy jeff will be back and get the win brett congrats your hard work is paying off i just wished you and lutz could have went side by side for the win
The drag n drive community is awesome. Congrats to Brett LaSala and the snot rocket 🚀 team, great work
Damn Kevin was driving that thing
Alex Taylor is hilarious
That compilation comment had me dead 💀🤣
About time you guys caught up with Billy from SRC street guys having fun at the track
I was hoping yall would catch up with Billy The Kid and The Old Man at some point. It was cool to hear they were heading to Sick Week to give the D&D thing a shot... Even cooler to see they made the round trip!
Wow. What a grand finally!! Kevin's display of professional driving was priceless 👌. Thanks again Fred for bringing us these videos!!😎🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Brett and SR's team is just unreal, so incredibly dialed in, a 6 flat will happen in their near future.
3:12 the chute slap while looking directly at the wall has to be one of the most gangster moments of the year already
Jeff Lutz is the definition of class... never compains or blames anything on anyone. Its just "we'll give it hell next time"... a true scholar of the sport. take notes guys
Kevin is a Straight Savage ! 💪😎🇺🇲
He can Drive 🔥
That Mustang goes straight and lazy looking for a rocket ship. What`s cool is that it looks kinda like a street car and shouldn`t be going that quick.
Amazing! Great coverage 1320.
Lol, Kev is a pro, he hit the switch to turn off the car while sliding sideways, then he took a sip of coffee and straightened out he fought the skid and Kev won. Good save bud,
This Sick Week series has been amazing ! Great job guys !!!!
might soud controvercial, but 1320 vids, the best motorsport television IN THE WORLD imo.
6.42 is a safe pass....😂 Brett, congratulations + 1320, best content/editing, and energy. Awesomeness all around!!
Good to see the Ol Man and Billy. Love that 55. Kevin had a crazy run,,,,,,WHAT A SAVE.
SOME DRIVING at 3:10!!! Cool as a cucumber
Brett bringing home the overall win with coyote powered mustang. "mUsTaNgS CaNt dRiVe"
So happy for Brett LaSala and his team! Seem like a great group of people!
Tom puts on a great event too!! 👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸
I wanna conversate with you
These are my favorite TH-cam series hands down. Every year I get so pumped for the drag and drives. Maybe I’ll find the time one day to give it a try.
I wanna conversate with you..
one of the best saves ever next to leg day doing a donut going 100 at the end of yellowbelly lmao
Pray for Jimmy Dale. His accident on the way to Sick Week is a lesson for everyone
SRC in the house! Those guys are awesome and build fast vehicles.
How many major drag and drives have been won by radial cars?
We've seen Mullet win Midwest drags and RMRW, but those events don't bring the fast competition as Drag week and Sick week. Surely in the 20 years of Drag week a radial car has won before right?
All these big money, big cubic inch billet motors but a little stock block and stock crank coyote wins it all. That’s Ford engineering baby. The modular motor is the only motor ever made that runs in stock vehicles for a hundred thousand plus miles and runs in promodified class. John Mihovetz, Mark Luton, Gary Soulages set world records 20 years ago with the 4.6 and 5.4 and now the Bret Lasalle is setting some.
There were many other people covering Sick Week this year. Most it not all were racers in the competition. I didn't watch any of them (that is to say...yet) however 1320's coverage was so good I monitored YT for the 1320 daily upload. Followed the entire unbelievable event with all those unbelievably great people. 1320's coverage is crucial to this sport. To the very last day and last passes 1320 had me intent on hearing every word. Keeping up with everybody's classes and times. Not just that either but,... as important as all the rest was also the setup coverage, travel coverage, breakdowns, checkpoints, rebuilds, triumphs...everything and more. I am a mechanic and know that I could make a showing at a Drag Week event. I am 65 and started thrashing back in '78. I know a thing or two about "stick shifting" and American made big blocks. All of them. The whole 1320 gang are stars for what they are doing for American drag racing. Watching you guy's coverage of 2024 Sick Week was..."sick". Congratulations for your inspiring efforts. You make me wanna thrash and go fast again...well...and quick too. Watch out if I show up, I'll be the fastest of the class I try out in! I hope. 😮😅
Its mind blowing to think that the drag racing entertainment in the 1920’s was running 20’s in the 1/4 mile. Today we have “street” cars that run 6’s. That’s only 100 years, a possible life expectancy for a person.
damn kevin a straight up physicist pulling off that save
Yoooo Kevin’s save was insane what a dialed and calm and collected racer dude 😮
That was the smoothest emergency parachute release i've ever seen!!! Way to go Kevin!!
Kevin KSR can DRIVE. We didn't need more proofs but here they are
The 1929 car Won in my book. Fantastic
Coyote motors are no joke!!!
A lot of complaining about track prep.
It’s a drag and drive event, not a promod event.
Majority of cars are on radials.
OF COURSE they are going to prep for the majority.
Snot rocket 2.0 !!!
Blue oval baby!!!!
Exactly, you wouldn't set up the track to suit just a few cars, jeez !!
The way Kevin just nonchalantly slapped the chute 😂
Let’s goooo Brett! Fast Forward Race Engines are for winners!!
Lots of respect for these teams, the amount of hard work and dedication it takes to compete at these multi day events is highly commendable.
Its that "One Piece" front end on snot rocket 2.0! LULZ.. Thats the 2023 sick week "protest".😂
Not going to happen.
Snot Rocket for the win. I can’t believe that he did this with factory engine components. Coyote is by far the best V8 engine ever…Besides my favorite engine the 351-C
3:08 He just won Sick Week in my opinion. That save was amazing. He did everything perfect.
You all know that Lutz was beyond pissed lol. Getting his ass whooped up on by a small tired radial car. LOL I LOVE IT!!! Couldn't happen to a more deserving jerk lol
Thanks Fred for finally on the last day to interview Billy and Mr Bill. Great family!!!
1320 thanks for covering Sick Week. How of all the different channels covering Sick Week I like your the best!
Fred and crew takes no 1 spot overall for Sick Week coverage 🏆🏆🏆 This was the one to watch for an all inclusive view. Congratulations on the win 😍👍
Thanks Fred for mentioning the Hoskinson family of SRC and The Old Mans Garage. 🙂
