@@shred1894 eh, he tried to play by the rules. But ya gotta look at it this way: it's not that they kick you out if you go past cage limit. It's that they let ya get some on one to see what it can do before caging it.
It is definitely a chance for Tye now that Jackstand can't drive and participate in races where a license is needed. Would be great to see Tye team up with Zack for Mid West, Sick Summer or RMRW.

Dude having George being the main camera guy who narrates while Cleet drives worked out flawlessly. Really everybody in the team is perfectly capable of grabbing that camera and doing a legit video by themselves let alone as the team. It’s like every video you just feel more and more involved somehow. Feel like everybody in this community is part of this race team lol coming from a family who works on a dirt track team, this is legit pit stuff. Granted different style of racing but all in all it’s awesome. Keep it going!!
i legit remember when George first came to be apart of the team full time he was filming Cleteus and Cleet did a burn out lining up for a pass and George would always something so great lmaooo like "ooooooo weeeee ruby's bout to get on down" lolol at that moment i knew George was my fav
yeah they do a great job of showing us what it takes to do this both on the track and in the shop.

McFlurry made that 7.8 sec pass look way too easy, I feel like this setup has the most potential out of the whole fleet
Engine-wise, probably not... However, when Tye built the chassis, he learned from all the past mistakes, so McFlurry's got a serious chassis that won't give them the kind of trouble that say, Ruby did.
The Godzilla just doesn't have the aftermarket support... *YET*.

Again a testament to the team and to Cleetus' ability as a driver. Gets in a brand new (to him) car, with a transmission he has never raced with before and takes it to the peak of the cars abilities. Clarkson once said "the mark of a true racing driver is they drive the car as fast as it can go, not as fast as they can drive it. They take the machine to the peak of its abilities" Well done McFarland Racing!
Me and my dad are building a foxbody drag car at the moment and I'm hoping it will get to this point in the future. This made me cry. I've been waiting for the first 1/4 mile of this car for a while now and this is what comes up! Historical moment in the McFarland history.

We had a car with a Lenco shifter way back in the 80's, although we had a clutch on the input, not a torque converter.
With a Lenco you can actually pull any leaver at any time (except reverse). Each leaver provides a specific gear shift, typically around 30 to 37%. Each one can be a different gear shift based on what was purchased and which order the sections are bolted together.
You can also start with any of the shift levers pulled if you want a higher start ratio for a less grippy track.
Once a lever is pulled, that section becomes a 1:1 locked up section.
When the lever isn't pulled that section has a gear reduction plus a one way sprag clutch that only allows accelerating torque (no engine braking unless all levers are pulled into 1:1 position).
I love the lady who hands the ticket over after a run. She's always just standing in the background smiling like a proud mom while one of the guys geeks out about the stats. We need to meet her in one of the vids lol.

I don’t think the McFarland racing team gets enough recognition for how much hard work, dedication and effort they put into building cars and drag racing them as hard as they do. They are absolutely killing the game right now and I love it 🇺🇸🦅👏
Oh they definitely get the recognition. Redbull just hit them up a couple of weeks ago and 2500 plus comments per video.
I'm not shitting on ya for saying that, but 3.14 MILLION people signed on to watch, with roughly a third or more clicking on every video. Not to mention, roughly 6-10% of those watching click like. That ain't nothing to sneeze at. Compare that to any other car channel, and you'll see that's some bananas numbers.

I have had two of the f250 pickups with the Godzilla engine. The factory electronic shift transmission rides the rpms to almost redline for a good while if you push it.
