The timing couldn’t of been more perfect! I was just browsing around online looking at film foil capacitors and deciding which ones to get. But I wasn’t sure how many caps I was gonna need to get for the mod. You became the godfather of modding samplers. Thanks again. 🙏🏾

I'm glad you did this video cuz now people really get to see. I'm about to do the converters on my MPCX peace and I am ascribing to your channel
My question is what would the modification do? Does it make it sound better or hit harder, does it prevent it from. crashing? Why should or would i need to modify the mpc for?
When I first did this for myself in 2022 I was looking to get more Bass out of my unit, I noticed there has been more detail out of The Samples and more bass on the drums. Listen to the beats I played on this video including the drums. Peace

The way to go about this is to work with your Local Electronics shop because there are several different rates of Nichicon Capacitors on that Board, This is the best way and most effective way to get this done. Peace

@@DJKumachen - Sweet yeah he was thinking potentially a main board issue but I also looked it up on discussion boards and it might be a firmware issue so fingers crossed or else I’m doing so internal surgery on the MPC lol

There are way too many ratings on the Nichicon Capacitors that were used, my best recommendation is to work with your local shop like I said on this Video.
Okay so when you are saying “upgrade with a stronger capacitor”, is it a bigger capacitor? Or is it the same size capacitor but made by a different brand?

The new mpc line is weak ..mp3 player sound quality. I compared the same samples with the live/X to 2500 3000 and there is a huge gap in sound quality. Why not put the best from two worlds togheter analog sound and digital funtions
@Dr.Delux3 Yes that is true, that's part of what drove me to modify my own MPC, I saw the 3000 going for $3000 on places online like ebay etc. and I decided it would be best to install better parts on my own MPC.
@Dr.Delux3 It's ok, all I did based on my Electronics Background was to Install Better Capacitors on The Electronic Board where The Outputs are Located and it worked.
