I love this approach, for myself and my students. I'm always reminding them (and myself) that Down Dog doesn't need to look a certain way, trying to get of the "supposed-to", and this breathing focus allows exploration in the pose. Thanks for the wall version, too!
I also love these short awareness practices with nuanced ways to be curious about asana. As a teacher, it gives me options when I'm creating an experience for my students. Thank you, Kristine!
Yes, when we fill the body with breath, it creates this massage like quality, loosens and lightens and strengthens as well. Love these subtle body invitations
I appreciate you sharing information like this in these short videos because it allows me to immediately enrich my own personal practice as well as enrich the yoga classes I teach. Often, simply inviting one new awareness into a yoga practice can be powerful to an internal shift of energy as well as a conscious strengthening of self-care.
I love these little short videos where you help us use breath to really bring the pose alive throughout the body. I'd love to hear your take for doing this in Trikonasana if you have time please? Thanks 😊
That was great, Kristine. I have done a similar thing with the breath during seated twist, using the inhale to allow and direct prana to rise up the spine, and the exhale to soften and allow prana to expand outward from the spine to the boundaries of the energy body. So I love this idea with down dog and will explore it with other poses. Thank you!
Very nice, thank you! I would like to hear more about setu bandha sarvangasana, if you haven't done it already. I will look and see your repertoire, also.

Brahmina energy rising … hadn’t noticed till you memtiined energy shift … 😂🙏🌻 thank you, really appreciate the way you illuminate the science to this ancient art 🙏

I really appreciate seeing demonstrations of how to use the breath to enliven the pose. Maybe we could see side angle or malasana?
I would love to see this with pigeon, please!
